I very much have enjoyed this restaurant. I’ve come back to try more! Drinks are always on point as well (they have a great clarified lemon drop, and the espresso martini is ).
Ambiance is lovely, very chill. Nicer restaurant for a date night.

I’m a crab cake snob and have to try them wherever I go, if it is on the menu. I would say theirs was 6.5/10. It didn’t really stay together very well and I wasn’t a fan of the sauce that was used on it.
Their crab DIP, however, is absolutely and I highly recommend.

My friend tried their chicken pesto pasta and was very happy with it.

Thus far, their staff have all been wonderful.

The hype is totally earned!! Hubby and I came here for my birthday. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with inviting textures and warm lighting. Although it’s open plan, they managed to make it cozy. Everything we had was delicious: hush puppies, baby back ribs, Cajun pasta and to crown it off, the sticky toffee pudding was the real deal! We had some of their mocktails and both were really interesting and yummy. Liz was our waitress and she was warm and efficient. We will be back for sure!!!

GG was excellent. First visit and took a chance on the crabcakes. I haven’t had a decent crabcake since Dogwood closed. Everyone says “jumbo lump crab” but they usuually serve string/filler. GG didn’t even hype it as lump crab, but it was! You could actually see it. Added whipped potatoes in lieu of veggies and the substitution was no problem and no charge. On a recent visit to Hard Shell we ran into that “no subs” attitude/policy. Not good.
Excellent server. Big room with nice bar and atmosphere.
Drinks were very good. Crabcakes were $34. Wifee’s “half chicken”($24) was great! We’ll go back.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING – Richmond Area’s New Must-Try!

We attended Friends & Family Night at The Granite Grill & Bar and were blown away. The interior is stunning with warm wood tones, rich leather seating, beautiful lighting, and thoughtful details that create an upscale yet inviting atmosphere.

The service was exceptional, with staff who were warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to ensure a great experience.

And the food… WOW! The crab dip with fried wontons was one of the best we’ve ever had. My well-done filet was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and my husband’s rockfish was moist, tender, and delicious. Every dish, from the calamari to the Caesar salad, was fantastic. Dessert was just as impressive; the gluten-free brownie sundae and the sticky toffee pudding were both incredible.

Granite Grill is going to be a huge hit. Exceptional food, top-notch service, gorgeous atmosphere… everything was flawless. We can’t wait to come back and bring friends. Highly recommend!

Pros:
Crab dip is on point. Entrees and drinks were amazing.

Cons:
Brussels have a weird taste – not good. They should just deep fry them like most people.

Availability is not good due to the fixed large group tables staying vacant.

Regardless, will be back.

The food was good but a little pricey. I got a pretty good burger and this alcohol free pomegranate limeade. It was kind of noisy and busy but the staff was nice and atmosphere was very fancy.

Very happy to have the Granite here! It’s right down the road from me and I’ve been looking for a local restaurant to call “the hang.”

Been here twice and have enjoyed the food and ambience, but the service is a little subpar. Everyone’s very nice and welcoming, but it takes a while for the food to be served and to track someone down to pay the bill.

Besides that — really excited about this place! Seems like a cool place and I hope it sticks around for a while! Hope to be a regular.

Dinner at The Granite Grill was a total win. Welcome by an awesome team, Abby was absolutely wonderful, quick in providing seating eta, extended the option to order cocktails while waiting ! The spacious, open layout is equally inviting as the staff. If you go, you HAVE to get the Cajun pasta; it’s bold but not overly seasoned, absolutely delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect companion—refreshing with just the right kick.
10/10 would recommend!

Superior service they did a great job on opening day. Food was good but not the best I have had so I will call it average burger and fries and appetizers. Niki was a great waitress.
