Pretty great all around meal and experience. Prices are accessible and not crazy Denver prices. The Pub Steak was the right amount of food and didn’t require appetizers. Our server/bar tender was awesome . The historic building created a wonderful atmosphere. Recommend

Grand View Tavern: Great Vibe and Drinks, Skip the Dinner
The Grand View Tavern nails the atmosphere. It features a wonderful, old-school downtown bar vibe with lots of warm wood—a truly comfortable and handsome space for a casual evening.
The service from the wait staff was great; our drinks were brought out promptly, and they were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. However, the kitchen’s timing was notably off, as one person in our party had completely finished their meal before our orders were even brought to the table.
Unfortunately, the food quality didn’t match the environment or the service. The pretzel itself was just okay, but the “cheese” dip tasted exactly like cheap ballpark nacho cheese. Our other dish, the fish and chips, was mediocre at best.
The Verdict: Go here for the drinks and the atmosphere, as those are top-notch. If you’re looking for quality food, I would advise you to pass on the kitchen.

Watched the sun go down as the trains rolled through, dropping evening commuters. Great view (no pun intended). The grilled cheese was hearty. The taco salad was good too. A little pricey or I would go here more often.

We used to love it here because the prices were good and it offered a little something for everyone. Sadly, the prices have increased about $4 per item in the last 2 years, but the quality has not improved. Skip the $22 basic cheeseburger and fries and head to Arty’s.
Service was good considering only one server on the floor. Unfortunately this kinda put the last nail in the coffin for us. We really want to like you guys, but it’s the prices that keep us away.

We can’t wait to come back! We met chef, Mitch, who went above and beyond. Sophie, our server, was outstanding. The food is so good (meat pie, chicken skewers and salad – love!) and there are many things we want to try. Love the location, team and food!!

Awful excuse for a restaurant. I will smile as you are forced to close the doors for your disgustingly over priced garbage that you sell as food. You are selling $23+ dollar burgers that are worse than most fast food. They are selling less expensive and way better burger at the mountain resorts. Your server also charged us $2.50 to SPLIT a plate! That’s absolutely insane, I’ve never seen that in my life. We will never be back. I will tell everyone how awful your food is and how expensive it is. You made a life long enemy today. You disgust me, you are what is wrong with the restaurant industry. SHAME SHAME SHAME!

I went on 1/19, early afternoon, to get a chocolate Martini. I wish I would have caught the bartenders name, she was so nice and made me feel welcome immediately! And, hands down, the best chocolate martini I have had in a long, long time. I’ll be going back.

Good bar atmosphere, but boy are they missing something to make them 5 stars. The food is sub-par; it’s over priced by a lot for the area and not good. There’s so many options in Old Town for tacos, literally throw a rock and you’ll hit 3 taco places. Grandview has an opportunity to REALLY be something different and special, but they miss the mark. Had a Caesar Salad with chicken- the romaine was a little frozen and the chicken was cooked about 3 days prior and so chewy and bleh. I won’t be going back and ordering food. $70, waitress didn’t come back post food delivery, just not worth the money when you have so many other choices. I want them to succeed but they’re just missing the mark.

Nice tavern and grill on Grandview in Old Town Arvada. The service is exceptional and very friendly. The atmosphere has a cool old school feel, beers are reasonably price, burgers are a little pricey unless you come on Monday, where you can enjoy 1/2 priced burgers.
