This was a complete waste of money. I spent over $100 and the food was unacceptable. All the meat was dry. I couldn’t even bite into the three beef chunks I received. The suya was so dry it was basically jerky. The goat tasted old and still somehow undercooked (like tough) at the same time. Nothing tasted fresh. It honestly felt like reheated leftovers.
Service didn’t make it any better. One person was handling everything — market cashier, reasturant cashier, server, possibly cooking — which clearly isn’t working. I asked for my starter to be dine-in and the rest to go so we could sit and enjoy the restaurant. Everything came out to-go, and when I mentioned it, he just shrugged.
For those prices, the quality and service should be far better. I won’t be returning. Which as a South African just wanting to support was so disheartening. I was embarrassed to have brought my friends

First and most importantly, mama class was the most outgoing and welcoming woman I’ve ever met! I was a first timer so I asked her what she recommended outside of my fav (egusi soup) and the vegetable soup she recommended was amazing! Both had so much flavor! She gave me some cups of spice and it made it even better! 10/10 you get what you pay for! I will be back tomorrow:)

The fufu was hot and fresh. Very tender and juicy chicken. The fufu was so hot is was like a warm hug in my stomach. Amazing service as well, she was sweet and had a smile that could brighten up anyone’s day. Wonderful place to go with friends or family if you’re wanting a hot and comforting food experience.

Now, y’all… THIS FOOD WAS WAY TOO GOOD! I highly recommend this place. The food did not disappoint at all. The woman there is very sweet, and super kind. She is very blessed woman and I am so happy she is able to bring that taste of Africa here. The entire experience was a 10/1000. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I devoured the food like a wild coyote. It’s good y’all. Now stop reading these reviews and go on over there and get you some good food. You done looked at these reviews to decide if you want some. Just go, trust me. Such a lovely woman, and place.

Mamaclass, a QUEEN YOU ARE!
First off, the egusi will always be my comfort dish. The flavor bomb that arises through each bite on top of the most perfect piece of chicken? My goodness does it take my breath away each and every time.
Secondly, the fufu! I’ll never enjoy any other fufu the same way I enjoy mamaclass’s. The proportion and softness of the texture is heaven sent. I always go back for more. I love this spot with every part of my heart. So if anyone is ever craving something so wonderful and tasteful? PLEASE don’t hesitate coming here. The sweetest human ever with a passion for filling stomachs.
