Fantastic evening with friends. Food was wonderful and cooked to perfection. The waitress was happy and helpful, while being VERY busy.
Drinks were a bit pricey.
Haven’t been here in years, however, it was well worth the trip back.
One thing to do when making a reservation, make sure you have the correct restaurant!!!!
We had a table reserved for 6 in Montana…. opps.. I did cancel it, a bit too far to drive.
Exceptional experience all around.

This is our go to place if we want prime rib. In that department they did not disappoint. There were 6 of us. 4 of us had prime rib. The appetizers and 5 of the meals was very good. The one meal, the pickeral plate, sorry Granary, but, I have seen bigger perch fillets. The portion was VERY small and only 1 fillet. If I hadn’t known better, I would have sworn it was ordered off the child’s menu. I understand this is a restuarant, and food is how you make profit. For the price, I was very disappointed in the portion size.
Our server was always checking on us, filling the water glasses, and just doing an overall bang up job. Dessert was a bit of a different story. 2 of us had the raspberry cheesecake. Unless their policy has changed, they have a third party create their desserts. The attached(I hope) picture is of that cheesecake. Both of us agreed that there was very little raspberry flavor. I also did not find any raspberries. Yes, there was a puree, but, I was looking for actual berries or bits of berries.
Overall, the meal was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was as expected.
We will go back. But will be choosy about our meal.

Wow, we have nothing like this in Edmonton where you walk in there’s a nice old farm atmosphere and everyone is polite and welcoming and it’s just awesome. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our food meaning it was absolutely perfect and the peanut butter pie to finish off the meal was so Awesome. Our server was Jasper and they were short a server and she was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a great experience.

The Waiter, K, was very friendly, and there was good service.

There was a tad bit of wait for the food.

The food was amazing, and I had the Prime rib granary experience. I was informed about the steak possibly being cooked medium, but it ended up being so tender anyway.

Very classy theme and atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great dining experience

I recently visited The Granary, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service was top-notch – a definite 5-star for the attentive and friendly staff. The salad bar was impressive, with plenty of fresh options to choose from. I found the pricing very reasonable for the amount and variety offered, which made it feel like great value for the money.

The vibe of the place is a bit old-fashioned, but I didn’t mind; it added a bit of charm. The facilities were well-kept and clean, which added to the comfort of dining there. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while the food was good, it was somewhat ordinary in flavor. There wasn’t anything that really ‘wowed’ me or made me want to keep eating. Still, I enjoyed my meal and will likely visit again in the future.

This place is an absolute gem! It feels like stepping into a warm memory — the kind of spot your grandparents might have taken you to for a special evening. The vintage ambiance is cozy and full of charm, with rich amber lighting that sets a relaxed, inviting tone for dining.

The bar is beautifully separated from the dining area, offering a sleek, well-stocked space for drinks and conversation. It’s got a nostalgic yet upscale vibe, with classic decor touches like vintage posters on the wall and shelves lined with antique items.

One of my favorite parts? The salad wagon! It’s a refreshing throwback — crisp ingredients, great variety, and the kind of detail you just don’t see often anymore.
We had mushroom Neptune, salad wagon and their bestselling prime ribs along with woo woo and their featured cocktail, Saskatoon berry saur.
Mushroom neptune and Saskatoon berry saur was my favourite amongst them.

Highly recommend this place for a unique, comforting, and delicious experience. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, or just a quiet evening with good wine.

We had a great night out at the Granary. We have been here several times and it is always perfect. The salad bar is clean and everything is cold. Lots of choices. The wine was great. Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was my partners birthday and we got a free dessert. Many to chose from. We
had the waitress suggestion and it was a brownie with warm icing, whipped cream and ice cream on the side. OMG. I was sooo good. It was a great evening.

May 2025, Came into the restaurant after not being here for many years. The decor hasn’t really changed.

Two-thirds of our party, decided to add the salad wagon with their meals that they ordered.

At our table, we had prime rib, ribeye, chicken fingers, chicken oscar and peanut butter pie. Everyone said they were satisfied with their meals. The dessert was good but was a surprise it was a cheese like versus ice cream like base to everyone who had a taste of it.

Service was good, even though they were busy. The wait staff that were available all helped each other in that section and ensured all water glasses were filled. Everyone’s drink glasses were refilled to the customers’ liking.

The experience was decent. The atmosphere was nice. The prime rib was good. My wife’s filet mignon was good.

The waiter Aiden was attentive enough, but the up-selling really got in the way of the experience. What should be a pleasant experience was tarnished by the constant up selling, and it felt like I was buying a used car from a greasy salesman. The constant up selling did not align with the rest of the experience.

For example. My wife ordered wine. I ordered a coke. His disappointment that I wasn’t ordering alcohol was very apparent (maybe I’m a recovering alcoholic?). I ordered an 8oz prime ribbon. He took the order and then came back after taking the order to try to sell me a bigger prime rib. “No, thank you”. Wife orders a filet mignon, tries again :”Do you want a lobster tail with that?”. I’m sure that management is giving him kudos for up-selling, but I find it quite irritating.

My wife and I were having an intimate discussion, and instead of waiting for an appropriate pause, he interrupted our discussion mid-sentence.

He brought our drinks and brought me a Pepsi but failed to mention it was a Pepsi when I had ordered a Coke. Not a big deal, but that attention to those little details like that are what separates a finer dining experience.

Our friends treated my husband and me to this restaurant for our anniversary, which is on February 14th, and we had an amazing experience.
The food was delicious and had a unique taste, with portions that were just right. I particularly enjoyed their salad buffet and discovered the unique flavor of horseradish for the first time.
The only downside was that the prices listed on their website were lower than those on the menu. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable evening.
