I tried the brown stew red snapper, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, succulent, and full of deep Caribbean flavour. The Jerk Chicken Alfredo Pasta? U N R E A L. Creamy and spicy (not over barring), but perfectly balanced. And don’t even get me started on the Oxtail Burger…. I needed 1 more for home time! Juicy, extremely unique, and unforgettable. Honestly, I wish I had the recipe for them all!
What makes this spot even more special is the consistent quality, generous portions, and passion that goes into every dish. The presentation is on point, and you can tell Julian puts his heart into this.

I don’t like to get off the GO train before my stop, but this food is well worth whatever effort you must make to get it! Every dish I have ordered has been of fantastic quality, tasted great and was plentiful. The rum cake is a revelation. Julian, these eats aren’t just good, they’re great!

Social media definitely overhyped this place. I visited after 3 PM, hoping to try the oxtail burger, but it wasn’t available—which, in hindsight, might have been a good thing. Instead, I ordered the BBQ fried chicken with festival and coleslaw. Unfortunately, it looked nothing like what was advertised on their social media. I also tried the oxtail with rosé pasta, which came with just three pieces of oxtail. While the meat was tender, both the oxtail and pasta lacked flavor. To top it off, I had to wait 40 minutes for my order. It’s disappointing that this was my first experience here. I came in with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype— maybe I’ll give them another chance in the future!

Ordered the oxtail burger and it was quite delicious!! Oxtail was cooked perfect and was tender. The addition of the fried plantain really compliments the coleslaw and oxtail together.
I paid $16-$17 with tip for the burger which is a bit higher especially since it doesn’t come with a side. I would also appreciate more pepper sauce considering the cost of the burger. Regardless would love to try the other items on the menu. I Would recommend and would eat here again and again.

I called The Good Eats by Julian to place an order and asked for Rasta Pasta, which is clearly listed on their menu. The person who answered the phone mentioned they were operating out of a catering business and responded rudely when I asked about the dish, insisting it was called “Rose Pasta” instead. The tone and attitude were unprofessional and dismissive, which completely turned me off from ordering. First impressions matter, and better phone etiquette and customer service would go a long way in creating a more welcoming experience. I snapped a photo of the menu online just so they know Rasta pasta is on the menu and it needs to be removed if it’s not a part of the menu.

For starters, the food is good!
Definitely like how they make it back home.
I had the Jerk Pork + Festival.
You can taste the smokey flavor on the pork & it’s well seasoned. The festival as well tastes great.
It’s freshly made so expect to wait a few minutes but trust me, it’s worth it !
Personally, I just wish there was a tad bit more pork. I love pork, especially Jerk pork.
Anyways, i’ll definitely be back for more.
