I went to Superica for a late Saturday lunch and very much enjoyed my visit. I had awesome service, shout out to Hannah. The food was delicious and I liked the Mexican coke. I was on the fence about trying the fish, but went with it. It did not disappoint as it was cooked to perfection. Some of the flavors might not be for everyone so I recommend trying different things and sharing to see what you like best. I never rave about refried beans but these were really good and the cheese on top tasted great. My daughter was hesitant to try the rice because it didn’t look like your typical rice, but I encouraged her to try it and she loved it as it was packed with flavor. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Superica was a nice Tex Mex option for the area. Not the most flavorful Tacos al Carbon I’ve ever had, but the tortillas were solid and the salsa tasty. Great chips too.

Great experience and service. Angelica was the server for our party of 9 during an afternoon gathering. She was amazing with her recommendations of not only Superica but also other restaurants in the area when we asked about local desserts. This was my first visit and I look forward to returning in the future. Thanks Angelica for suggesting the Veggie Mix Fajitas!!

A fun night out. The staff were friendly and efficient, the drinks well made, the food diverse Mexican and very tasty. Starting with chips served with 4 different salsas and hot sauces, to ginger margaritas, to a delicious custom salad, I enjoyed every bite. Very lively setting to add to the fun.

Amazing service, location and food! Our server, Jasmin was truly amazing and tended to our every needs. Restaurant is nestled in a beautiful community with shopping, dining, rec and theatre experience. Fenton is a fairly new place that is starting to become a popular hangout spot. I highly recommend trying this place!

My wife, little girl, and I stopped here for lunch today. The food was excellent, and the staff were professional and very kind. We had a minor delay in our entree (no worries, things happen) and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Gestures like that are uncommon these days and memorable. I’ll definitely be returning again soon and spreading the word on the great food and wonderful service to others.

I was excited to try Superica for the first time but left very disappointed. My cocktail hardly tasted like it had any alcohol and took a long time to arrive, followed by queso that took over 45 minutes and was watery, thin, and flavorless. When my $18 steak quesadilla finally came out, it was not only small for the price but the steak inside was completely raw. Steak in a quesadilla should never be served that way, ever. While I normally enjoy steak cooked medium rare to medium, this looked barely cooked and was inedible. When I mentioned it to the staff, the response about the raw steak was basically, “sometimes when we’re busy like this it can come out like that,” which is completely unacceptable. We sat outside, which was nice in theory, but kids on the lawn behind us were screaming so loudly that I could barely hear anyone at my table, and it went on for almost the entire time we were there (not the restaurant’s fault, but it made the experience even worse). Between the high prices, slow service, dismissive service response, and poor quality of both food and drinks, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had and I will not be returning.

Disappointing Experience at Superica Fenton

My family and I were excited to return to Superica in Cary after a delightful first visit last summer. We drove over 45 minutes, eager to enjoy the food again, but sadly, our experience fell short.

First off, I was disheartened to see that the restaurant only had a 90 sanitation grade. That immediately set a concerning tone for our visit. Despite it being a quiet evening at 6 PM, it took far too long for our order to be taken. This wait was only compounded by an extended delay in receiving our meals.

When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing. My husband’s enchiladas were overcooked, and the taco meat was so dry that it was inedible. We had no choice but to send it back for a remake. My shrimp tacos were equally unsatisfactory—one bite was enough to remind me how different they were from our previous visit.

In total, we spent around $100 on what turned out to be well below mediocre food. While our waiter was nice and professional, the slow service didn’t help improve our experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location again.

The chips and salsa were waaaay too salty for me, I think it was the salsa, surprisingly. After trying that, I didn’t have high hopes for the rest of the food, however, the meals were excellent. I had an enchilada suiza and a chicken verde enchilada. They were both flavorful with distinct differences. The suiza won my tastebuds over. My companion said the chicken carbon had perfectly smoked chicken. Yum! We really liked the entrees.

The servers were super kind.

The decor is trendy, the architecture is cool. One thing that made my experience not so great is It’s the type of place that has loud music and talking. It’s meant to be lively, but for me it’s just overwhelming. I did like the food I did like the staff. I just am not sure I’ll come back because of the loudness. Maybe I’ll sit outside, they have outside seating.

If you want flavor and to have anything remotely that taste like Mexican food this is not the place. No hot salsas, zero flavor, everything tasted the same. The fajita toppings (cheese, guac, sour cream, lettuce…) came in a dish above the tortillas and were swimming in water. The large portion would have not fed two adults. Expensive for what you get, an overall letdown. Server was nice but everything else was subpar. I just want to warn folks so you do not walk away upset and have to go to Sheetz to get tacos right after they leave there.
