We cant say enough about how good the food was at the Golden Swan! It was gourmet’ all the way! I had a specialty drink of danedlion lemonade, it was fantastic! From appetizers to main course to dessert, everything was exquisit and perfectly prepared! The atmosphere was enchanting. The chef, Doug Brixton, came out to talk with us about our food, he is definately an expert in his field! His staff was wonderful and accomodating! I dont get to NYC often, but will definately eat here again and highly recommend the Golden Swan to those who want to enjoy an evening of fine dining in the heart of NYC

Went on a date here, it was absolutely spectacular! The Steak Tartare and Sticky Toffee Pudding really stood out, incredible. Very attentive waitstaff and great cocktails and wine. The music is very vibey – not too loud. I also loved the dimmer lighting. Thank you!

Went there for Valentine’s Day with my wife. We had set of four course each. The food was sooooo delicious from the very beginning: salad, pasta, risotto, and the dessert… amazing service and environment. The only regret – I wish my stomach is larger, couldn’t finish the dessert after so much food!

The first floor bar is beautiful and has a great cocktail and wine list. The Brixton burger is amazing. Big fat juicy patty served with duck fat fries. Bartenders gave great recommendations and makes a mean old fashioned.

Sat in the private room upstairs, and had a great time. Restaurant’s only been around since 2023 I believe, but vibes and ambiance inside are emblematic of old timey West Village steakhouses. Enjoyed the food – only a few things were particularly standout, but everything was generally cooked well. The sommelier and servers were great and very attentive.
Starters:
– Salad (solid, refreshing)
– Fluke Tradito (interesting bite, not particularly memorable flavor-wise)
– Canaroli Risotto (very tasty)
Mains:
– Chicken (kinda overcooked / tough – not my fav)
– Sole (tasty, solid)
– Farfalle (very good!)
Sides:
– Fries (tasty, nice crisp / thickness)
– Spinach (good)
Dessert:
– Sorbet Trio (very tart, but fresh)
– Chocolate Caramel Tart (decent, very rich)

10/10 across the board. When you think of a romantic, low-light dinner with incredible food, Golden Swan is exactly that. I had the lobster risotto, which was a beautifully balanced and flavorful dish. The duck fat fries—honestly, all fries around the world should be made that way. Our waitress was also incredibly thoughtful: we sat down about five minutes before happy hour ended, and she brought out the happy hour menu right away and kindly reminded us we still had a few minutes to order. Such a considerate touch that made the experience even better.

Lovely restaurant in the West Village. Perfect for a “date” with your wife or anybody else and perfect on a snowy Saturday. Our brunch pancakes were superb, fluffy and delicious. Romantic decor and super friendly service (calling out Isabelle).

Such an amazing experience! Love the variety of service options; Bar and Casual Dining or upstairs Formal Dining (where we were). There is even a special area on the top level that for up to 12 guests for special occasions. The food is unreal and has so much detail put in the the flavors of each entree. From the appetizers to the dessert they are something we will never forget and will come in town to come back to eat again. The chef has done a fabulous job with the menu and the ambience of the entire experience.
