We visited the Golden Stag on their opening night and were not disappointed. This is a true gem for Manistee and a must visit. The service was friendly and the staff was very knowledgeable. After visiting Europe, I longed for an aperol spritz and an authentic Italian meal and this lived up to my expectations. We are excited to visit again and cannot wait to try more of the menu. Should you need to wait for a table, don’t be deterred; the experience is worth the wait!

Well If you are a vegan like me and in Manistee town and having hard time to find food Cz everybody here only wants meat then this is ur place, I loved how many vegan options they had and I ordered pepper dish and it was just so yummm….quantity was enough for two I ended up packing for myself…one pepper filled me up. Definitely recommend this place to all my vegan and non-vegan friends. Amazing staff and great ambience….Go for it

Let me tell everyone that comes to visit Manistee. This is a must restaurant to go to. So my wife and I got to town late and was looking for a late night bite to eat. Well let me tell everyone that they sat us down and gave us a 5 star meal and didn’t rush us out. My wife finished her meal for the first time because they let us take our time. I don’t see this restaurant going anywhere. If anything the other places should be worried.

Great start for this place. Pizza was very good, and the goat cheese starter that we had was fantastic. I don’t like giving 5 stars out of the gate, but they came close. Definitely give this place a try. We’ll be back for sure!

Great food.. actually it’s heavenly. Lovely atmosphere a gem in the north no doubt.. only knock is if they could whip up drinks faster revenues would increase. My food came out before my draft beer order.

I have been to The Golden Stag three times to date. The restaurant is newly opened just a few short weeks ago. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff was incredible helpful and very attentive. The food was amazing!! The best pasta, pizza and spinach pie I have ever had. Everything is made from scratch and it really shows. The owners were working every time I went. They came to our table to ask how everything was and told us and everyone how much they appreciated them coming in.
