the wicker park sandwich is one of my favorites!!! i will say the service is yikes, it’s either so uncomfortable/rude or just mediocre normal. there’s one staff in particular that uses profanity around guests to talk to her coworkers (even while taking their order), i’m sure management knows but jist won’t fire her lol. another time i tried to get gift cards the manager explained she the didn’t have the amount of cards i needed and didn’t even look up at me, so i stood there for a second and i was like oh okay thank you, she still didn’t look up it was sooo weird like it’s a twilight zone in there lolz.

i went a little bit ago to grab some lunch. i’m not sure the name of the employee but the shorter server who looked to be east asian? she was so rude and made the whole experience so uncomfortable that i wont be returning. she refused to acknowledge me for several minutes and rolled her eyes and said “well yeah…” when i asked if she was ready for me. i should not have had to ask her, but since i did i expected a nicer response. then i asked her for her opinion on one of the sandwiches. she turned around, laughed with one of the employees and responded “i mean it’s pretty good. do you want to order it or not?” this is super disappointing because the food is great, but im not spending my money at a restaurant where im ignored and then spoken to rudely. ive seen other reviews about her and management seriously needs to do something about her or people are going to avoid this location.

I stopped by this place simply to grab a coffee to go, as I usually do. I understand that dogs are not always allowed in food establishments, and I had no intention of staying or dining in.
Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled was not pleasant. Policies can be communicated politely and professionally, and that was not the case here.
This is disappointing, as good customer service goes a long way. I hope the staff can improve how they address similar situations in the future.

I’ve been eating here for 10 years, back when it was a tiny hole in the wall until today when it’s a huge, beautiful cafe! The food is always top notch – imagine they take your favorite simple breakfast or lunch item you love and just add a little something extra to make it special. So happy to see them shine in this new space. It’s really nice to look around and see the tables full of people talking and connecting.

Popped in yesterday 1/16 in the afternoon while walking the neighborhood and the first thing I noticed was a blonde haired young lady standing behind the counter almost statue-like. She didn’t greet me when I entered the store nor anyone else who entered after me. I even perused back and forth in front of her looking at the items near the register and she didn’t utter one word. Finally , to break the awkward silence, I greeted her. A greeting seems standard and basic for a customer-facing job. Luckily the cute aesthetic of the establishment, and my latte, made up for the non-welcoming customer service.

What a fabulous addition to the neighborhood! The best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had. Tons of fresh blueberries at the bottom with a crusty top. Other menu selections look great, along with prepared foods and salads. Nice selection of wine and beverages along with serving items. So excited to have them here! Dine in or take out

I usually really enjoy the food and drinks at Goddess, but I do agree with some other commenters that the service leaves a little to be desired. I totally understand that sometimes you’re busy making another drink or prepping another order, but even a hello or acknowledging the guest waiting in line would go a long way! Most times I come in here there’s a several staff chatting away behind the counter and completely ignoring anyone waiting in line. Today my hot latte wasn’t even hot 🙁
