Food was excellent! We had amaretto sours, the chicken piccata, red snapper, potatoes, seasonal veggies, crab claws, and cheesecake. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The historical aspects of the building were thankfully kept. Rare curled pine is seen throughout the building. Owner encouraged us to have a look around. Right next to the Amtrak station but you’re not disturbed by the trains. We will be back!

Excellent cuisine, customer service and overall an exquisite dining experience! I loved the food, (skirt steak, oysters and homemade gelato). The staff was friendly and attentive and the building itself was very cool (I love Victorian architecture)!

Fried shrimp appetizer was hands down the best shrimp I’ve ever eaten! I had a special – soft shell crab on a Ceasar salad. Also excellent! GREAT customer service and beautiful historic building! This was my first visit and I will return!

Great food, awesome service and what an atmosphere! Set in a historical building, this place was beautiful!! The wife and I came here as a last minute date night decision and had already scoped out the menu so we were prepared to reach deep into the wallet. It was well worth the price! My NY strip was cooked to perfection and the bread pudding, OMG!!! Go check this place out on the next date night!

You wouldn’t really think of Marshall, TX and think of a great, high class restaurant. That’s not a knock on Marshall. It’s that it’s a small east Texas town, a great town actually. But, here’s this awesome restaurant in a historic, cool building right next to an old train station. But, more importantly, the food is excellent and the staff is superb. The only drawback is you will pay for this goodness. The Ginocchio certainly doesn’t have Marshall prices. But, I would still highly recommend this great restaurant.

Our experience was absolutely wonderful. We were looking for a restaurant to eat at on our evening stop when traveling to Lafayette. We literally decided to stay in Marshall when we happened upon Ginocchio and saw that it was in a historic former hotel. We were delighted to see it was connected to the train station. So much charm right off the bat! The service was just what you expect at a nice steak house and the food was impeccable. Great wine selection which is important to us. We will definitely choose to stay in Marshall to eat here in our future travels.
