I placed my order with doordash, that was a great experience. The young lady that dropped off my food was polite and sweet, she gets a 5. This is my first time trying food from here, everything was packaged well and neat. A person like myself who really enjoys good food. I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to food. My food I received was overly seasoned to the point you do not know what you are eating, it just taste like salt. The potatoe salad was watery. I want to be fair the food presentation was great but the taste was not to my liking, not for almost $30.00. I was really disappointed at a time like this no one want to waste money.

Never again don’t order from this place especially if you have never been there. I did doordash the portion sizes were ridiculously small like two regular tablespoon scoop sizes. This restaurant also does UPS parcel pickup. My package has been there for a couple of days now and there is no one at the store. The doors are locked. I call and they don’t pick up. It is a great disservice when businesses open and close whenever they feel like it. Why offer a service or accept people’s packages when you are not there to perform the service? I’m very disappointed.

The portions of the food was very small but compared to the amount you pay it would be considered a good deal. The meats were cooked well and were flavorful but the side portions were ridiculously small and lacking in flavor and texture. The Mac and cheese you can tell were burned, water added to reheat, and salt added generously to hide the charcoal flavor. The candied yams were delicious although I suspect they were canned. The potato salad was flavorful but was mostly mayo, only a small scooped was served. We ordered cabbage but it was not delivered. The banana budding was lacking in texture and was more like boxed pudding added to wafers. Overall this was a nice attempt at soul food but it was also a failed one.

Ordered here and it is terrible the way they lack consideration and basic customer service. I spent over $40 for my food and EVERY SINGLE LAST ORDER WAS WRONG. How is that even possible? They sent me 3 orders of catfish when no one in my house ordered catfish. This is ridiculous. On top of that this is the second time ordering from here and BOTH times my order came back wrong. They just give you what they have not caring if that’s what the customer actually ordered or not. They need to just SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. DONT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

The perfect place to eat if you hate yourself. It took an hour for the food to arrive, granted unlike other reviewers my food showed up. What came through my front door was not what was bought and paid for. In four meals we got a wrong side, a wrong meat, and one meat was entirely missing which is a shame as it was the only passable part of the meal besides the yams.

my food never came, after i waited 3 and a half hours! i called twice the first time they told me it would be delivered in 10 mins which was a lie, after waiting another hour i called back, and a guy told me they busy what do i expect, i need to just wait.. horrible customer service! never ordering from here again

The food was delicious the mac and cheese could be better but I assume it was just a bad day….the food taking longer but its is one manned maybe if they get better stationary and and more people it would be a faster experience…but overall it would gave been litt
