Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Yogurt Parfait, and the Chicken Adobo. The chivken was cooked absolutely perfectly, so tender and good flavor! The rice was divine, and the refried beans were smooth! Everything tasted fresh. The granola is made in house, and even has goji berries! I’m a fan of greek yogurt, so it isn’t sweetened, but I love it that way! They do sweeten it with honey. Fresh berries too! I also enjoyed their coffee. The atmosphere is cute and charming and the staff is friendly! Seems clean too. Will be back, highly recommend!

found this spot on the way to the hot springs & it was amazing! the menu is limited and by the time we got there some items were sold out so we went with the barbacoa plate special and yogurt
hope to be back on a more sunny day as the rain sent us inside but the place is beautiful and staff so very friendly ❤️

We stopped for lunch at the Giddy Up Cafe. What a treat!
Delicious, healthy food in more than enough portions.
We ordered two omelets with different additions as well as a veggie omelette with an egg. Portions were large enough to share if you want.
We parked on the street just across from the restaurant.
Lovely shaded patio area made our visit complete as well as a delightful young lady who took our order.
It’s not far off the interstate so stop by if you’re hungry.

Definitely not what I was expecting when a local waitress recommended stopping into the Giddy Up Cafe! I’m so glad we stopped in! We shared the Hawaiian Dinner Special and boy was it good!
There was a line when we entered but honestly was happy to see they were busy! The wait was manageable and the outdoor eating area was perfect to relax and chit chat while we waited.
We will definitely be back to try their breakfast the next time we’re in town!

My friends and I ate breakfast on a Sunday at The Giddy up Cafe. Great service and food. The food is pricey, paid $13 for a biscuit with green Hatch gravy and another $13 for an omelet. Vegetarian options are available. However, I am lactose intolerant and no dairy free options available for coffee. Sitting is limited and mostly outside. Unfortunately, someone was hovering over us to finish eating so they could sit. Overall, a cute place to grab a quick bite.

I visited and ate at this café while on a girls’ trip last year in New Mexico. The café was quant and the food was so good! I had a pasta dish that was delicious. My friend and I sat outside to eat and it was chilly as it was February. We were given blankets to wear while outside, which was so nice! Service was great and I would definitely eat here again if I visit Truth or Consequences sometime in the future.

The food was amazing;I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Sauce was perfect, and eggs poached to perfection. Cooked to order and completely from scratch. Feels like you’re eating in your backyard. The only complaint is that the section to eat in is very small. So at peak breakfast time it filled up fast. My date and I ended up sharing one of the tables with another couple. The dining patio is beautiful and so very unique. When we travel to TRC again, we plan to give the dinner service a try:)

The Giddy-up Cafe is essential to visit if you’re in Truth or Consequences. Weekend brunch on the patio is super cozy especially in the warmer months underneath the honeysuckle vines. The staff is super friendly and music is on point. A must if you’re downtown during the weekend. Perfect after a long soak.

Also, the coffee is small batch roasted in house.

You order at the front, find a seat and they will bring the food out to you. The food is a good portion. They do offer alternatives for dietary restrictions. I ordered the quiche and had a beautiful side of fruit. It was delicious. My husband got an omelet burrito and it came with a side of well seasoned quinoa. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Definitely recommend.

Went to T or C for our anniversary and the Giddy Up had a special Spanish menu for the day. The food was to die for and the place was so cute and quintessentially New Mexico. 100% coming back.
