This was my first time here and can I tell you what a great time I had listening to the greatest play-list of all. The whole Bar, including Larry, was singing.. The greatest bartender Karen made me feel like I was from Kirkwood, MO and I can’t wait to come back.

Some of the nicest bar tenders in town. The beers are ice cold and inexpensive. Cozy atmosphere and fun place to watch sports.

Very rude, disrespectful people running this place. My father and husband went here, first time and last. A bartender was rude right off the bat to my father who simply asked about drink selections. She said some awful, nasty things to him. She took his money and then told him to leave.

Ample parking. Great location.across from the pool . Excellent sports venue for groups or small gatherings of friends. Excellent service drinks for extra strong. Love the atmosphere for a close cozy sporting event or get friends together..

Extremely rude wait staff. We were invited into the bar by someone hosting an event and the bar staff made us feel guilty for existing. Will not be visiting again. Also, this lady is not nice.

I have been coming to the Geyer Inn for the last few years. The experience has always been consistent. Consistently average. The Geyer Inn is an absolute hidden gem. Great beer selection at a very reasonable price. However, the staff is all over the place. Sometimes they treat you like family, other times the staff couldn’t possibly be more rude and unprofessional. The bartender on Tuesdays (Sandy) is sensationally pleasant and kind. All other days of the week are an unpredictable crapshoot. I would like to see a more consistently friendly staff. My most recent visit left me feeling unwelcomed and guilty for visiting at their establishment. All of this said, I absolutely intend to continue visiting the Geyer Inn and can only hope my experience improves over time. I want to continue supporting this gem of a local business! What ought to be appreciated is the fact that the entire staff are volunteering their time and services while only making money from tips.

Loved this place, talk about a neighborhood bar as it’s pretty much a home turned into a bar. Dogs walking around, sofas, and a fireplace add to the ambiance

Listen up, fellow bar crawlers and casual imbibers – I’ve discovered the holy grail of neighborhood watering holes, and it’s nestled in the most unassuming corner of Kirkwood, Missouri. The Geyer Inn isn’t just a bar; it’s a magical realm where hockey enthusiasm meets hometown bar perfection.

Picture this: A space so cozy you could practically warm your hands on the collective body heat of genuinely happy patrons. The kind of place where “small” isn’t a limitation, it’s a feature. Every square inch of The Geyer Inn is meticulously crafted to make you feel like you’ve stumbled into the world’s friendliest living room, if that living room were obsessed with hockey and had an inexplicable but absolutely welcome barber’s chair.

Speaking of that chair – because yes, we absolutely need to speak of that chair – it’s not just seating, it’s fully functional and a conversation starter.

The people? They’re not just smiling; they’re radiating the kind of genuine warmth that makes you wonder if they’re secretly distributing happiness through some advanced molecular technique. Every patron looks like they’re living their best life.

Five out of five hockey pucks. Would absolutely sit in a potentially haunted barber’s chair again.

Where do I start. My late father was the biggest fan of this place and I believe even knew the owner, and since my friends and I are finally 21, we thought we’d check it out and have a nice evening. Unfortunately, what we got was quite the opposite. 4 of my friends went to the bar to get a drink and were met with Karen, who questioned the validity of their IDs (every bartender should know that 21-year-olds can have vertical IDs), insulted one of my friend’s appearance (asked where her tan went), and then served 2 of my friends the wrong beer because the one they ordered seemed to be too much of a hassle. Soon after, Karen approached our table, where we were quietly sitting, and questioned my friend and I because we weren’t getting drinks. We were designated drivers. She didn’t like this answer, and told us that she needed the tips. She also said she doesn’t “babysit”. The 4 friends who were drinking decided to finish their singular drinks quickly so we could get out of there ASAP. On our way out, Karen shouted “see you guys in a year when you graduate”. My friend decided to walk back in to get the owner’s number because we had all had enough of the disrespect. He politely asked for their number, and was met with more rude remarks and absurdity. He told Karen she was being rude to all of us, and she admitted to it, saying it’s because we “left a mess” (there was no mess) and because two of us didn’t get a drink (we were DD’s). After he explained we were DDs, she suggested we should’ve stayed home and picked the drinking friends up later. If you don’t drink or even aren’t planning on drinking for one evening, don’t come to the Geyer Inn. Extremely disappointed by this experience and safe to say I won’t be coming back. It was a cool place, but Karen needs to be fired for the better of this establishment.

Was welcomed as soon as I arrived. Parking on the street about a minute walk was easy. However I know how to parallel park. The beer selection had what I wanted. Everyone in there was very nice and the game was on the TV! Bathroom was clean
