Awesome little spot off the main roads. My brother got the 1 pound bacon cheeseburger an I got the half pound bacon cheeseburger an onion rings. Nice place. Great atmosphere. Cheeseburgers were great an cooked how we wanted.

Very cool spot we had heard several good things about it so we decided to check it out. Just a short drive east on Stokes Ferry Rd for us in Salisbury. When we arrived around 6pm Saturday night there were already a good crowd but we were able to be seated right away at a high top near the pool tables, perfect for us because we wanted to play some pool too. We tried the fried chicken wings, baked chicken wings, 13oz ribeye steak, loaded baked potato, burger and fries. Food arrived very quickly, perfectly cooked, and delicious! The steak was well seasoned and the baked wings nice and juicy. The pool tables are very nice slate tables with nice balls and ques. They have Touch Tunes jukebox which we love. Overall it was a great vibe and great evening for us! Can’t wait to go back.

I have not been inside The Getaway to sit down and eat, we usually call in an order and pick it up. The food is amazing (especially the pizzas and burgers). Prices are right there with everyone else. Service is always great- calling in an order or ordering online. This is a great “backwoods” restaurant where you can really enjoy the food. Atmosphere is about like a grill/bar and it can get loud (has been when I’ve entered to pick up food). Definitely give them a try, even if you don’t eat in, ordering online is super easy!

This place is a bit off the beaten path but really good places usually are. Our first visit here but not the last one. We had burgers and wings and that cast iron chocolate chip cookie! It’s a menu item you need. Our food was great, the service was great, and the beer was cold, a trifecta of sorts. I have never seen a 30″ pizza pan and for those of you who haven’t either, you are welcome. If you are in the area and don’t stop by for a bite, that’s on you.

If you ever want a great steak and don’t have to cook it yourself this is the place to go!!! Not only are the steaks out of the world but their wings are to die for!! The staff is absolutely amazing like always!! If you’re in the mood to play some pool well guess what they have pool tables too. Such a hidden gem that everyone needs to know about!!

Visited as part of a motorcycle event. From the outside, very unassuming looking and felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. But inside was really nice, great atmosphere. Looked like they had some pool tables, lots of drink choices (had I not been riding there were some I would have liked to try).
Decided to give the All-American Hotdog a try with some fries. All the way was with mustard, chili, onions and slaw. They had three kinds of slaw, I opted for white. Very good hotdog, well cooked. Fries were good with nice seasoning. Guy next to me had a delicious looking pizza.
Service was great. Server was quick to take my order, kept drink topped off, chatted with those of us sitting at the bar.
If you ride by, don’t be put off by the exterior. And if you don’t ride by, make an excuse to go visit.

Great pizza and awesome wings! My wife and I split a pizza down the middle, meat lovers on one side and cheese on the other. It came out perfect! Their wing sauce options are great. They even brought out samples for us to try so we could decide on a flavor. Fun atmosphere, a few pool tables and a bar area. They started some karaoke while we were there and even though it’s not really our thing, it was fun to watch while we finished our meal. We’ll definitely be back!

me and my friends decided on the getaway for a quick brunch and it was the most delicious food we’ve probably ever had. it’s so fulfilling and tasty. the flavors are all so yummy, and the service was fast and and all of the employees are so kind! thank you for a great experience, we will definitely be back.
