The George and Dragon is an old school English soccer pub located in the heart of lower Fremont. The pub orginally opened in 1995 and was shut down in early 2020 due to COVID. The George underwent a large renovation and reopened in March 2021 under new ownership. We show all football, opening early for most EPL and International matches. The George and Dragon features 24 beers on draft both European and Domestic, large heated patios, pool table, two dartboards, a jukebox, 5 large screen tv’s inside and 2 patio tv’s. Opening daily at 11am (check website for early opens or call). Pub Trivia every Thursday from 7-9:30 and Karaoke every Sunday from 10-close. The George is Dead! Long Live the George!

Longtime relaxed hangout (since 1995) where fans watch soccer, eat British pub grub & sip pints.

*This Review is focused towards Sunday Karaoke at this location. This is Definitely a Hidden Gem for a Great Sunday Night!

Absolutely Chill vibe, Great atmosphere, and it All Kicks Off at 8:30pm Sunday Nights. The Rotation for Singing was on point! Their sound system is more than acceptable, and the KJ was an Outstanding Host, with a Large library of Songs to choose from. You heard it Here first from yours truly; “The David”.

George and the Dragon is a pub nearby and I stopped after a day of hiking around Seattle. I asked the bartender for a recommendation and he suggested the Fish Sandwich. It was a great choice. The Sandwich consists of two (one big) pieces of breaded fish on a hoagie with lettuce, tomato and tarter sauce. Fries were included as a side dish. The sandwich was delicious especially the fish as it was crispy and flavorful. The sandwich did fall-apart a little but it was manageable. The fries were good and the service was fantastic. I will have to go back for their fish and chips.

Great place to watch all sports, especially football. They open early for the Premier League kick-offs (even the 6am games), and the atmosphere is always buzzing with passionate fans. It gets really busy, but the service is fast with no waiting on drinks. The food is spot on too. Highly recommend this place for any sports fan.

I can see why The George & Dragon is a popular spot in the area for those looking for a pub vibe / international sports on the tv. Energy inside was high on a Labor Day weekend and beers were cold.

The George & Dragon Pub in Seattle is a great spot if you’re looking for a classic pub atmosphere. The vibe is laid back and friendly, and it really feels like a true neighborhood place. The food was solid good pub favorites and hearty portions and the drink selection is exactly what you want from a British-style pub. Staff was welcoming and attentive without rushing anything. Perfect place to catch a match, have a pint, and hang out with friends. I’ll definitely be back.

Horrible experience. We are not from Seattle, but love pub environments. Server (bartender) wasn’t overly friendly to begin with, we pre-auth CC for the bill. 4 of us all ordered food, had drinks and a round of shots. None of us were driving, we were enjoying ourselves at our own table. Server cut us all off, so we left (and got drinks at the next establishment with no issues). Server told our other 2 in our party that we didn’t pay and charged them a second time after closing out our pre-auth bill. We flew back home and have called, emailed and left voicemails for the manager to have this dealt with so we can get a refund for being overcharged a second time. No response. Terrible bar and even worse staff. Crooks!

Came to watch a Man City game while vacationing from the East Coast. My bf enjoyed the Full English Brekkie and I liked the Fish & Chips (breading was a bit soggy). No English beers, but everything was nicely priced & there were plenty of options. Enjoyed ourselves and had a nice time despite City losing 🙁

The COVID Grand reopening! What a great British bar. Dimly lit, fun vibe, lots of TVs, a soccer hangout. And the bartender is a cocktail expert and knows his stuff! Some of the very best fish and chips around, with really good crispy beer batter!
