This was a awesome experience really felt at home eating here very country style place with excellent food and a live band it was extremely busy here they had a wedding a high school reunion and a birthday and honestly with how packed it was service was still great staff was lovely and gave my daughter some of the birthday cake that we was not part of cant wait to come back for more and the pepperoni rolls are better then my hometown that made these as a busy the amount of food that comes with the app basket was surprising steaks cooked perfect and not much of a sauce guy on my steak by that bourbon sauce was tastey thanks for great food and this experience

We had an outstanding experience at Gaslight tonight. Our waitress SaeAuna was spot on with everything we needed. She was super friendly and checked on us. The food was AWESOME! Check out the photos of my walleye and his pork wings. We also had the fried mushrooms which have the perfect coating on them. Everything came out timely. All of this while they had a funeral reception happening that I estimate had 300 people. They were spilling out to the porch there were so many. Yet our meal was perfect. After 9 hours in the car today it was perfect.

Pretty much like everything else I’ve been to here in South Dakota it is rustic. And when I say rustic I think that’s the Mantra of South Dakota. Food was really good I’ve been basically getting the same thing at different restaurants see which one I like the best, is chicken fried steak. Service was outstanding but the beer was even better but actually the best thing about the entire meal where the deep fried mushrooms, truly outstanding.

This was a very interesting and unique experience. The food was DELICIOUS for the price I’d say it’s worth it. The service was pretty good, it was a full house when I went, I got table service and it took a minute for the server to come check on me. I’d say the friendliness outshines the slow service. Not at all disappointed. There was a live bluegrass band playing when I went which was very cool. Also if you’re staying at that associated hotel, you get 10% off the bill.

This is a great place to grab dinner, the staff was awesome at keeping our drinks filled and asking if we needed anything. We have never had service like this anywhere, so this speaks volumes of how serious the staff is about enjoying what they do.

We’d heard this was a go-to place from some locals. It didn’t disappoint.
The food was good, especially the Cajun jambalaya. We also had the country fried steak, which was good but you may want an extra side of gravy.
The Chislic was a fun, yummy appetizer, as was the Gaslight chips and cheese dip. Very hearty appetizer.
Service was great. They had live music, which was not the most amazing (on the night we went), but added to the fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Didn’t need a reservation for a party of 5 on a Friday night.
Would for sure go back.
