Hidden local bar with local eats. Homemade food with a menu that includes burgers, apps and a variety of sandwiches. It also has Darts and golden tee. I tried the tuna melt and fries and was not dissapointed. Very well done. Thanks for the great service Chris!

I usually love coming to this place. My wife and I have been coming here for years. I ordered the gaslight burger as I usually do and added bacon. I don’t know why but today my burger tasted extremely salty. The onion rings were decent and my wife’s chili tasted fine, but the burger Tasted like it had a whole cup and a half of salt mixed into the beef. It’ll be a while before we come back..

Gas Light Cafe is the quintessential neighborhood bar! It’s a place where you always feel welcome. It truly is the definition of a local hang—perfect for grabbing a drink, a bite to eat, or just unwinding. The staff is consistently super friendly and attentive, making every visit feel like catching up with old friends. Gas Light Cafe is the heartbeat of Pleasant Ridge.

True definition of a dive bar without feeling like a dive bar! I really liked the inside. It reminded me of old school bar with the mirrors and booths with glass. Great food and service. You can’t beat the prices either!

A great hidden gem of a local bar serving up classic, homemade comfort food. The menu features burgers, appetizers, and a nice variety of sandwiches, plus games like darts and Golden Tee for some fun on the side. I ordered the tuna melt with fries and it was excellent—perfectly cooked and flavorful. Big thanks to Chris for the friendly and attentive service!

Good food – burger/sandwich. I tried their homemade seafood chowder. It was good. The soda drinks are refillable just for once (stated in the menu).

Hate to do this, because I’ve been here several times without a bad experience.
This is directed at our server, not the Restaurant.
Our server failed to take our order after about 25 minutes, despite walking over near our table multiple times to serve others.
When a member of our party went up to the bar to pay for the drinks we got when we were seated, the same server basically asked him to move out of the way so she could continue serving beer to other guests.
I’m just really disappointed in the service we received, but I’ll still come back some time.

Small & cozy neighborhood bar.
Super friendly staff that answers questions & remembers who you are.
Go in by yourself, with a buddy, your spouse, your family or the whole gang. Heck, go in after a school or sporting event.
Kids aren’t unusual at The Gaslight. Despite it’s size, they (kids) never seem to be in the way there.
Drink pours are never short. Beer or booze.
I’d have given 5 stars, but that only comes with a big bourbon selection!
*Hey, shelf space is limited, so I get it !
Good daily specials. By that I mean no matter what it is, it’ll be good.
Full of regulars but always room for the new visitor. Sidle up to a stranger at the bar & I swear – chances are, you’ll know them by name shortly… —> And with few new stories to tell.
A great place to stop for lunch, a game, some drinks & some laughs.

Awesome hole in the wall spot that really makes you feel at home.

9 booths along the wall. 10+ seats at the bar. A few tables. At 7:30 on a Tuesday it took about 30 seconds to be served.

Low key. Simple. Try it out!

(Also, the bartender complimented my kit. Can’t beat it really.)

The Gas Light Cafe has an old school neighborhood bar vibe. Unpretentious, casual atmosphere and good pricing. The posted draft beer list does not reflect all beers on tap. After I ordered off the list, I noticed they have Guinness. Although I did not order food, the prices were very inexpensive. Definitely will be back.
