We live in Sparta and dine out quite often. While most of the local business and restaurants are exceptional food and great service, This restaurant just can’t seem to get it right. The bar area is completely empty with no servers. You can’t order a drink for at least 30 min, and we ordered our food over an hour ago and our server has not come over once to check on us, or refill our drinks. They don’t greet you at the door and quite frankly, we wouldn’t spend another dime at this establishment. Someone send in bar rescue ASAP.
Only good thing is the bowling ally!

Food was cold. Waitress barely did her job. It took an hour to get our food. And when we did complain waitress was rude. She said we should have told her but how could we have told her when she never came to our table to begin with? Reason given for this poor service was they have one grill. Ok that’s understandable. Except we were one of the only groups of people when we first got there so it most definitely should not have taken an hour for our food. And when someone complains, not in a rude or mean way, the workers need to respond in an appropriate manner

Went out tonight for a Prime Rib dinner with all the fixins….. Saddest experience I have ever had at this particular spot. The timing of the meal was poorly executed, Our salads came 2 min prior to our main course, this was after a 30 min wait (The wait time is standard at this venue) 3 orders exactly the same 3 wildly different cuts of meat Mine was 1/4″ thick Management’s handling of the issue was poor. Service was poor, food was substandard…… Sad day…

I’ve never been to this restaurant/bowling alley before. We went for breakfast and I had a veggie omelette and my friend had eggs, hash browns and toast. The omelette has a good portion of veggies, we’ll balanced, not to much of any one ingredient. The hash browns and toast were golden and crisp. Eggs cooked to order. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good, and I would definitely go there again for breakfast.

Food was very good. First time here. Service wasn’t great but I think they were short staffed and it was maybe hard to pay attention to refills and other things.

I have dined there multiple times due to good food and service. I chose to go there for my birthday and had the 4 pc fish special and I must say it was great. Most of the time when you get fish by the time you get to the 2nd PC it’s soggy on the bottom, every pc on my plate was crispy and not a bit greasy. The hush puppies were light, crispy, with a hint of sweet and served with a honey butter dip and the red skin potatoes were seasoned perfect and fried to a golden brown. Both hubby and I ordered the same thing and the bill came in under $25 which we thought was very reasonable for all we were served. Our waitress Abbey was friendly, attentive, and was spot on with our order. I would highly recommend the Garden Patch if you’re looking for both good food and service.

Love the bowling alley. Love the chicken tenders (they’re genuinely amazing). The menu really needs a revival. They seem to be doing a good job of being cost efficient, and there are a few things that are obviously made in the kitchen where other restaurants might buy frozen crap. So kudos there.
But take the Fish Tacos for instance. The fish and the batter is actually pretty great, but serving it in a mediocre tortilla with GFS cole slaw and sauce genuinely makes the whole dish worse. Either ditch the tortillas and just sell killer fish and chips, or give me something novel in the tacos. Bake or pan cook the fish and slice it, then give me a lightly dressed shredded cabbage slaw, some pickled onions and carrots and some sort of spicy cream sauce.
There’s stuff like this all over the menu, and I feel like with just a little consideration it would be amazing.
