The Garage is a garage themed bar and restaurant in Wausau, WI. Come check out our one of a kind wrench shaped bar! Enjoy your favorite team on our 7 82 TV’s or hang out on the almost 2000 sq ft patio! We offer a full food menu featuring fish fry Wednesday and Friday and prime rib Thursday and Saturday. Additionally, we offer all you can eat free nachos with warm cheese, salsa and jalapeños along with all you can eat popcorn.

One heckuva good time. The perfect atmosphere for a quick drink, great dinner or getting together with friends. The selection is amazing. Staff is super wonderful and live music is always a plus. And if you enjoyed a certain libation, wander right over to Granite View Market and get some more! This is the type of venue that everyone can enjoy!!

My first time visiting the Garage, was a very pleasant experience, my group enjoyed the patio area very much. Never had to wait long for a drink which was awesome. Food was good, though I ordered the French Dip to go and the Au ju sauce spilled in the container and completely soaked the bottom of the bun making it very doughy but was able to eat most of the top half so not a total loss. Will definitely visit again.

Been coming here since it opened. Best place in town to have a drink, watch whatever sporting event is on, and eat some good food. Great service always and there patio is very relaxing no matter what the weather.

This place was absolutely the best!! They had an all you can eat nacho bar and super delicious small seed white popcorn. Great place for bloody Mary’s, beer of all kinds and other great mixed drinks! The bartenders were super friendly and fun to joke around with. Very cool decor!! Definitely a fun place to have some laughs, drink some local beers from across the state and enjoy great snacks. Loved it here!

Coming in from the Milwaukee area for HS State Bowling, we found this FABULOUS place with a huge bar, tons of bartenders on staff so you are taken care of immediately, food menus that you circle your items & make your own customizations. The Friday fish fry was a hit with huge tasty portions. Caleb & Randy were an outstanding team of bartenders at our end, making our experience so much fun. The live band was a welcomed surprise & added to the great experience. We will be back!

*** update 04/15/23 *** i have been back 2 times since i left my original review and i have to say there has been a huge change in service, i would say it went from a D to an A+, great job! The service was exactly what people would expect to be satisfied. It was a bit busier than what it was the other few times and still the service was much better. The bartenders and servers were all friendly and getting drinks was perfect, no hand waving to flag down a server needed, very attentive. We had a small group and all agreed it was a great improvement and we will definitely be back! ****
