Severely disappointed! After all the reviews we were so excited. Had Mac and cheese that had over cooked noodles and was more of mashed potatoes texture. The “ranch” dressing was like spicy and sour tasting and a water consistency. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and brown. It seemed like we had spoiled food to be honest. The pork however was good, but had quite a bit of fat chunks for what you got. We tried to enjoy but eventually gagged and just threw it out.

Excellent pulled pork, succulent smoked chicken, exquisite coleslaw, delicious preparations all around! For restaurants in Danville, I cannot recommend The Garage highly enough! Chef Brad Hairston is a genius, delightfully witty and extraordinarily cheerful! Clean with a pleasant ambiance!

The pulled pork BBQ sandwich isn’t good at all it’s not very flavorful with almost no smoke flavor with a huge glob of fat on my sandwich… I won’t waste my time and money here again.

The food was okay. But so many things need Updated on the online menu and the in house menu as well apparently. Many things they didn’t have and there were a couple other things they do.

No decent seating, and the place was downright freezing.

The roll was dry and stale.

Now the service. She was so friendly and professional all wrapped in one. She seemed to be working alone and was making food for the day as well as waiting on guests. I would go again just because finding a nice person working these days is hard to come by.

But the food wasn’t that great and could barely be called BBQ.

Great place to come and have a great time. Had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches which were amazing. Potato salad was also great. Laura the manager made it a memorable experience. If you want a great place to eat then definitely try the garage, you will not be disappointed

Stopped in for the first time tonight. Had a very good pulled pork sandwich with Mac & Cheese. The traditional sauce was very nice. The staff was excellent.

Bbq was way too salty (couldn’t eat more than a few bites), slaw is bland, macaroni salad is overpowered with onions, and key lime pie has so much lime it was too tart to eat. Also did not have brisket.

The food here is fantastic! And gluten free! They even have gluten free buns and a salad that you can add smoked chicken to for a healthy option. The counter service is quick, courteous and helpful. Nice ambience, too. A very nice spot to stop for lunch or to take food home for dinner, too!

Not pleased at all with the BBQ, don’t tase nothing like smoked meat. Go to mission BBQ and you smell the smoke in the parking lot and when you Walk in the door. Danville needs to do better with BBQ.

I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage. Not hot, very tasty. Like the traditional BBQsauce. Enjoyed the open air dining.
