Large 16″ Margarita “Margie” bar pie. Perfectly charged edge, thin thin pie with a perfect crisp, delicious robust sauce, nice undercarriage (as Portnoy likes to say) and a generous topping of chopped basil and Parm once it’s out of the oven. This was a welcome change to Vic’s and Pete and Eldas if you want to change it up since there’s so many great pies in this area. Friendly, attentive staff and an extensive menu of pizzas (including vegan pies) and other casual food offerings. Looking forward to trying their Detroit style next visit. BYOB although they do have wine by the bottle available. Highly recommended!!

For a spot with such variety on the style of pizza and food, and such a vast menu, i was pleasantly surprised at the quality and deliciousness of everything. I had a great experience, the Detroit pizza was a standout and the smash burger is a must get. Incredible and definitely worth the drive from nyc for me. We need a spot like this in the city.

One of our go to places! Love it. It’s a small place, so eating in takes planning (and patience in the summer), but it’s perfect for delivery or pickup. They have the best pizza and sandwiches.

When I think of the shore, I absolutely think of the galley! From Cooper Sharp cheesesteaks to amazing Detroit sell pizzas. There is something for everyone at this amazing spot!
In an extremely cozy atmosphere, you can see Pizza’s being made every minute. I have to say I am partial to burgers, Nashville, hot chicken sandwiches, and cheese sticks, and if you order any of these three things from this place, you will be pleasantly surprised!

This is one of the best places the eat in NJ. The food is always 10/10. The staff is top notch, and the owner understands what people really like to eat. My absolute favorite thing about the Galley is the Cheesesteak!!!!!! It is literally the best cheesesteak in NJ (and PA). They are also consistent in what they do. Out of the 100+ times I ordered it, it is always a 10/10. Perfect bread, perfectly charred, exquisite meat quality, meat cooked perfectly, and the cooper sharp melted in the perfect cheese to meat ratio.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in ages. Best bar pie I’ve had in awhile – perfect crust and everything was absolutely packed with flavor. The wings were just as impressive: made with Bell & Evans chicken (the gold standard) and coated in a house-made sauce that was on a whole other level.
You can tell they take real pride in their food here. Everything tastes fresh, carefully prepared, and a notch above your typical pizza & grill spot. If you’re anywhere nearby, this is a must-try.

The food was so good and all came out hot! Detroit pizza was 10/10 perfect crunch. Wings were perfect, got the hot honey on the side, and the cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve had. Definitely would recommend when you’re in the area!

I had never been to Galley. My partner and I decided to go on a whim this past Friday (not taking into account it would probably be packed). We got there at about 7:45 pm. The take out line was insane. The girl who greeted us was super nice and cleared off a table right away for us. Despite it being a madhouse, she was really attentive and on top of everything. We noticed all the staff were really on their game for it being so busy. Ordered the Bee Banger pie and cheese steak. The pie was a bit oily but that’s because of all the pepperoni. Great flavor and crust. The cheese steak was friggin amazing. Fries were excellent too. All of the food coming out looked delicious. A guy at the table next to us said the burgers are really great. Looking forward to going back and trying other items! We both really enjoyed our experience and the food. I’m really happy I finally tried this place.
