I came with a large group, 14 of us and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Only one person told me later he had a bit of an upset stomach after but no other complaints. I got the seafood casserole, which I thought was very good. Our waitress was Kimberly and she was very nice and efficient. I would recommend this place.

Live music, friendly staff, delicious food. Can’t get better than that. Fun place with full bar. Lobster roll (cold) was classic and had a lot of chunky sweet lobster. Steak was cooked perfect, sweeter than I anticipated, expected more Whiskey flavor since it’s called whiskey ribeye. It is loud so if you wanted quiet conversation, might want to rethink here. This place is loud, fun, and full of good food, friends, and laughter.

Maybe an off night, but they were out of the items I desired, little necks. The scallops meal was shy in size, tho the price was heavy. Overcooked and lacking in seasoning, I waited a long time to be served and refreshed. It’s my first time here and I won’t return, shame it’s the closest restaurant to my hotel. I’m pretty sure a bite was taken out of one of my beets, and an expired snow pee arrived in my vegetable medly while seasoned nicely nonetheless.

Have amazing fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly and the french fries had a perfect crisp. My grandson had chicken tenders and we’re out of this world. Both my daughter and I had French onion soup that was perfectly cooked. She had a Portuguese burger and was absolutely satisfied we all had dessert and the clam chatter was delicious too. Our waitress was very kind overall highly recommended

Food was very good, Prices ok and Service could have been Better from the Waitress Rebecca R. No Service with a Smile, Was Slow and Kept Disappearing, I told I needed 1 minute to get ready to pay her and after 10 minutes I tracked her down and she was counting her $ in the other room.

I am only giving a one star because if you order them from DoorDash, they do not allow you to remove anything from your meal. For example, if you want a sandwich and you’re allergic to tomato. Tough, you are not allowed to remove or edit anything. That is really tough for people with allergies. I’m gonna end up having a problem on your hands.

4/2025 – been a while since I have been to the Galley…. A+ open on Tuesday ✅ fireplace on ✅ even open early….I was hungry before the funeral…. Excellent Turkey sandwich on the $15 lunch special menu…stuffing, cranberry and gravy. Delicious.
2019 – Had lunch at the Galley 2-3 weeks ago. Have been carrying around their Tripadvisor/Yelp card to remind me to do a review. Snowy gray day and a late lunch ~2:30am. Our waitress was hostess, waitress and bartender all in one. Thank you. Food was delicious and plenty of it. We treated it as an early dinner. Clam chowder on a cold day was perfect. Same with the gas log in the back corner area – cozy. Will be back as we have an office at 275 Martine. Lepage’s is the go to but not on Tuesday’s and only because we can walk there.
