and last but not least is tailgaters on Pops ferry Road they have excellent pizza…
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great as I received a burnt meat lovers pizza and had to throw it away. When I called the owner to address this issue, he angrily reacted to my review, which is something I often do to inform others about businesses. Unless you like burnt pizza, this might be your place, but there are better places than this elsewhere.
Biloxi has a variety of excellent pizza places to try, such as Pop’s Pizzeria, Pie Five Pizza Co., and The Sicilian II, each offering unique and enjoyable dining experiences. Make sure to check them out.
Biloxi has plenty of great pizza spots to choose from. Some top recommendations include Pop’s Pizzeria, known for its laid-back vibe and fresh, homemade dough, and Pie Five Pizza Co., which offers a modern build-your-own setup with a wide variety of toppings. The Sicilian II is another favorite, with family recipes and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. You can’t go wrong with these spots.
Now on to the food. We got the fried banana peppers for our appetizer. This was the first time we’ve ever tried it. Absolutely blown away. The flavor is an experience in itself and the portion was massive! I got the meatball sub and fries. Not pictured because I was really hungry and already started tearing in hah! My husband got the shrimp poboy. Look how STUFFED his poboy is!!! Whatever they bread their shrimp with is SO GOOD! Again, portions are large! You will not leave hungry. As far as the price, we’ve literally spent more per entree at McDonalds!
10/10, highly recommend!
Server was pleasant, just should probably write orders down.
Anyway, pay NO attention to however they got they high star reviews, that’s a $73 bill that we live and learned by 🙁
But it is also a great place in my opinion for lunch any day of the week. And their gumbo was exceptional.
I consider myself a connoisseur of gumbo, and I am very picky. to get a high five… this is great seafood gumbo. Yeah, they have it! Plenty of seafood, good to the last drop!
Also ordered a shrimp basket with fries. And yes, a basket of shrimp not just five or six. The shrimp was lightly battered fried to perfection. It was delicious. The season fries were spot on too, hush puppies were OK but hey, no worries. Did not come to just taste or try hush puppies.
The whole place and tables were very clean, including the bathrooms, The restaurant itself has a very warm vibe and with the name you gotta love it. Now I know this place is known for pizza, but decided to do the southern flare. The establishment itself parking lot was clean inside was clean. Bathrooms were clean!
Now this is a sports bar. The bar itself is not very big, but the overall seating area was very large. there is an upstairs not sure if it is for parties or not. The waitress was attentive, friendly and even went the extra mile. The service was exceptional and on the day that we visited it was not busy so most definitely I recommend the G.O.A.T. got to check it out for yourself. I hope you enjoy your lunch as much as we did.!!!!
