This is as quaint as you can get for a coffee shop… with a bookstore attached! It just doesn’t get any better! The atmosphere really does give that locally-owned coffe shop vibe and they sell all kinds of flavors of coffee. The bookstore in the back has a very eclectic selection of great reads and unique items. The food was amazing. We had the smoked turkey panini, a bagel with cream cheese, and a breakfast sandwich with bacon. Great selection of foods to choose from. Would highly recommend all of them. We also had the regular coffee, a hot chocolate and a Golden Dragon (ginger, lemon and honey) – all delicious. Great spot to check out.

I’ve never came here before so I decided to meet friends here and it was great! I got a pumpkin chai iced latte with the fiesta egg bowl which was really tasty. I would definitely recommend anyone to swing by here to get a pick me up or just to sit and relax

We stopped in for some local morning coffee, and we didn’t leave disappointed. My first time in a coffee shop I will usually ask what their favorite is and try that. The secret is usually that’s a drink they have made a million times and even perfected the recipe if adjustments were needed. The brown sugar latte was no exception to that rule. The book store is a fun edition to our trip, and we will certainly be back!

Okay, I know I live in Texas, but I have been to The Fuzzy Duck a few times and I think about it constantly.
My personal favorite drink? Their Americano. I like the Hazelnuccino (might have spelled that wrong) and the iced ginger dragon but their espresso really just shines on its own as an Americano. The shop is super cute, especially with the bookstore behind it and everyone who works there is SO NICE.
Most importantly, and this is IMPORTANT, they ship their coffee. Which I buy every month or so without fail. I tell everyone I know about their Peruvian blend. Its my favorite coffee of all time.
I just had to leave a review. If I lived in Morehead I would be in that coffee shop every day.

The young people who prepare the food are very nice. I ordered my coffee shortly before they closed, not knowing they would be closing. The young man behind the counter allowed me to take a few minutes to enjoy my coffee before I had to go out in the pouring rain. Not even five minutes later, the woman who owns the bookstore told me I had to leave—NOW!! This was less than 5 minutes after I had paid for my coffee. In her words., “I own the bookstore, and I said you have to leave now!” I was involved in workshops and at the university, and beverages were not permitted. The bookstore owner could stand to learn some people skills from the young folks who work in the coffee shop. Those young people have much better manners.

I loved my soup and sandwich and my son loved his egg sandwich but my boyfriend thought his Reuben was a little bland, he didn’t realize it was going to be a turkey Reuben. Our drinks were great and the book store in the back was very eclectic. If I lived there, it’d be a neat little spot to meet up with friends and hang out.

Phenomenal place! Food was excellent, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was excellent! Also, I witnessed a female employee handle a tough and very rude customer who was extravagantly arrogant and belittling. She handled this man baby very professionally and did not match his toxic persona with the same behavior. I thought that was very refreshing to see in today’s world. Great job staying cool and collected. I will recommend this place and hope to come back some day!

First timer here at the fuzzy Duck! I was greeted with a smiling face.
Bailey waited on me this morning and suggested the brown sugar and honey iced Toddy. It was delicious!

It happens only once in a blue moon that you walk into a place and instantly fall in love. Glad we stopped by here for a coffee break, on our way to Lexington. As we walked in through the double doors, we were pleasantly surprised to see the hustle bustle of Saturday morning, with a wide variety of selections from coffee , tea, smoothies , soft drinks, snacks , sandwiches even a burrito bowl. We had the s’mores cappuccino with the yummy cranberry nut muffin (one of the best we have had). Attracted by a wall decorated by mugs as we went further, little did we know that a bookstore lay behind … almost like a speakeasy of books, with a variety of activities like knitting and story telling … make sure you stop by here to enjoy all they have offer as you sip on amazing coffee !!!
