We were sad when we found out Bombay was no longer near downtown Auburn, but this fusion place by the same owners is exactly what we needed (and it’s closer to Opelika which is nice for us!) We went for lunch and you just order/pay at the counter and they bring it out to you, easy peasy. I got the fusion Chicken 65 wonton taco and my husband got the classic Tikka Masala bowl which was SO good! Their medium spice wasn’t spicy, it’s just right. The fries are amazing and I could eat a whole basket of their garlic naan We can’t wait to go back!

What a cool hidden gem! The food was amazing and so was the service. We got the aloo tikka, paneer tikka tacos, and veg samosa chaat fries. The fries were to die for! Can’t wait to come back, great value as well and huge portions.

Delicious! I ordered the chicken 65 tacos and fries and asked for spicy, it was spicy but not too much, house ketchup and aioli were both great for dipping, big portion for the price too. Will definitely come back to try other dishes! The staff was really friendly also.

i have truly no idea how this restaurant is so highly rated. bombay grill (its predecessor) was great in its time. i ordered a chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. the garlic naan is spongy and very bready/cakey……. very thick springy naan. gross.
the rice to curry ratio was atrocious!! SOOOO much curry and like one scoop of rice. also it was so clear that the curry was watered down to make it seem like more food it was so runny and liquidy. it was also just genuinely disgusting. i tried my best to finish it bc i hate to waste food but it was so gross like actually. pics below

My partner and I have been missing Bombay Grill ever since they were forced to close their doors last year. We were happy to hear that the same folks were opening a new restaurant near Tiger Town, but we were slightly concerned when we heard they would be serving fusion cuisine. We stopped in today to give them a try, and we have never been happier to have been so wrong!
The Fusion Rasoi highlights the most iconic elements of Indian cuisine with a curated selection of thoughtful, modernized dishes. Their streamlined menu consists of a few classic favorites as well as some unexpected combination dishes that really hit home for us. Though we were initially hesitant to embrace the change, we were pleasantly taken aback by how well the fusion approach lends to Indian cuisine.
We shared an order of veggie samosas, which came with two varieties of chutney. My partner ordered the paneer chilly wonton tacos with masala fries, and I ordered the chicken tikka panini, also with masala fries. She loved the tacos, and the panini was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Meanwhile, the samosas and fries were crispy and delicious. The huge servings, cozy vibes, and self-service iced water dispenser were greatly appreciated.
We’re excited that you guys are back in business, and we can’t wait to see how you grow from here!

Delicious food!!! 10/10 for freshness & flavor. We moved here a few months ago & have been trying different restaurants. This has been our favorite by far. Restaurant is clean & staff is friendly. We ordered the wonton 65 tacos and chicken curry bowl. Can’t wait to go back & try more items from their menu.

So so good! The fries are amazing a very crisp and slightly spicy. The chicken tikka tacos and chicken 65 tacos are delicious. Definitely come by here to eat if you are in town!! Highly recommend!!

The standard of care and options available for people with dietary restrictions is amazing! I am non-dairy. Most of the menu items do come with diary, however, after going in person and speaking to the staff, they were SO accommodating. I’ve eaten there twice and got the chicken tiki masala with coconut cream, instead of regular, and it has been delicious each time. Our family has had so much fun and enjoyed our experience each time we have been. The staff is awesome and it’s a very welcoming environment – especially for little kiddos!

10/10 experience! Staff were very friendly, plenty of spaced seating, wonderful Bollywood cinema playing, clean restaurant, food was amazing, the dessert was out of this world! I love the true fusion take on their food. I have eaten Indian food my entire life, but never had a fusion style like this one. We thoroughly enjoyed it!! Looking forward to going back tomorrow.

Indian-American food in a strip mall off the main road. We stopped by 6 months after opening . We got Samoa, shawarma chicken wrap with masala fries, and chicken tikka masala. Food was steaming hot and spiced based on our preferences. The servers were attentive.
