It’s just a lovely quaint little place, in Smithville TX. Smithville is an eclectic town. Around 5,000 people little to no crime. Friendly not expensive. An artistic town. The front room is really cool. Regulars visit the bar. It’s aign outside sais wine bar. & it is with very good wine. But it’s a full bar. Just an awesome town and an AWESOME little restaurant / Bar

Great food. Great service. Excellent ambiance. We made a reservation and they had a 4-top table waiting for us with the most comfortable club chairs. Delicious cocktails and decent selection of wine at amazing prices. The place was packed on a Friday night. If I were local, I would definitely frequent it!

Went for an Anniversary dinner, called a head and reserved seating only to be placed in a terrible spot, requested not to have bar seating only to be placed there, fortunately we were able to move to open seats that were much more comfortable. The servers were nice but not very knowledgeable about wine, found that strange as it is a wine bar, overall it was nice but lacked in other areas. Still enjoyed our evening out.

The atmosphere here at the Front Room Wine Bar is super comfy, prices comparable or better than most, wait staff warm and attentive, timeliness spot on, and their food is absolutely delicious. We suggest the gluten-free Spinach Artichoke pizza with a side of Brussel sprouts.

Pretty good restaurant for Smithville, Texas. Limited menu but decent selection(s). Nice cut of beef (steak) but needs more seasoning (a little bland otherwise. A little salt & pepper goes a long way, hint hint). Good pizza! Gets crowded quickly with locals mostly on weekends. Friendly atmosphere. Once-a-month (Fridays) primerib night is popular. Great bar/drink selection. Good wine & beer selections. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We decided to check out this establishment. FRWB did not disappoint. We enjoyed pizza, Asian coleslaw, and salted caramel cheesecake along with adult beverages. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I tried a couple of the seasonal cocktails and enjoyed the different flavors. There is a bar or tables to sit for your comfort. Several people were enjoying the “Bloody Mary make it yourself bar.” If you are in the area, drop by the wine bar and sit a spell.

Service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. The atmosphere is very charming. This little jewel is located right in the center of small town, Smithville. Go give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

A Smithville gem! Excellent food and craft cocktails. I especially enjoy their daily dinner specials…they regularly sell out of these so plan ahead. Lots of good vegetarian options too. We’re so lucky to have Front Room in Smithville!

Would definitely give this place a 1 star. The menu was limited as every item requested was unavailable. The waiter said they were out or no longer available. The drinks were overpriced. The staff/owner were not accommodating and very rude.
Definitely will not be returning..
