It was good food but for 2 adults and 3 kids, it was $100. Fries were extra for the sandwiches. Atmosphere was nice and it was quiet. Very clean and the service was polite and prompt.

Talk about authentic service, food, and atmosphere! The cheese curds are from a local dairy provider. They are delicate pillows of goodness, so fluffy and a perfect amount of saltiness. The shrimp are huge and cooked to perfection. The owner Andrew takes great care in ensuring he is serving amazing food. He is running an outstanding establishment. The bartender/server McKenzie has great wit and really down to earth. Check out open Mic night on Monday’s if you get a chance.

Fantastic spot. Family of 4 came for lunch right at open. The bartender served us and was just awesome. If he’s not an owner he should be, he obviously loves that bar and the people in it. He greeted everyone so genuinely. I also loved that he asked what all sauces you might want so they all came out with the meal and you’re not sitting there waiting for sauces while your food stares at you. Great service. We sat at the coolest table done by a local artist. Get the corner booth, you’ll know what I mean. Awesome food. We had the special burger, pretzels (not your typical, so good!) with beer cheese, jumbo shrimp, and fish basket. The fries were fantastic. Everything was great and came out quickly. Great beer selection. The atmosphere is awesome and definitely steps above what you’d expect at a small town joint. Bathrooms are super nice. We will definitely make this our regular stop when we are in Wabasha, Kellogg, or going through.

Today, our family dined at The Front Porch Bar and Grill in Kellogg, MN for the first time. On the outside, my kids enjoyed posing and taking photos by the beautifully painted mural. Inside, there is an event/banquet hall and the bar/grill area.
Food: I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they serve gluten free options (ie. Bag of Kettle chips, GF burger bun) despite not being on the main menu. Although they didn’t have a designated kid’s menu, our kids enjoyed sharing a basket of mini corndogs and a basket of fries. Overall, the food was delicious, quick and not your typical run of the mill “bar food”.
Ambiance: The building appears clean, well taken care of and updated. It is tastefully painted in darker colors with strategically placed accent lights and is pleasantly decorated in musical props and veteran related items.
Event Center: They frequently have live music, open mic night and rent out the banquet/event hall to area organizations and beyond.
We look forward to returning again and will recommend this place to friends and family.

I’ve been coming to this bar for many, many years. Its had many different owners and many different names. Right now, this place is fantastic! The decor is nice, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are phenomenal (compared to what they used to be). The prices for everything is extremely reasonable. We had the steak bites and jalapeño cheese curds. DELICIOUS! The staff was very friendly, attentive and lots of fun! If you’re in the area,I highly recommend this place! Cheers!
