The Frog Lady Fish Company is a locally owned family eatery located in the remote scenic town of Haines, Alaska. We operate seasonally out of a food truck located in between the Haines Quick Shop and U.S post office. We serve fresh halibut, salmon, shrimp, and Dungeness crab from the fisherman fleet of Haines – inspired by the traditions of our Tlingit family and favorite local fare. Southeast Alaska is home to some of the best eating fish on the planet, and here in Haines, we have an extraordinary fleet of fisherman that supply us with the tastiest seafood from the abundance of our ocean. Our fish is caught and processed by locals and prepared using the freshest ingredients. Stop by and dine with us on your next visit to Haines!

I had to eat here as I love the name (frogs are one of my favourite animals) and am a lover seafood. My husband is not but likes shrimp so he got the shrimp bowl which he said was really good. I had the halibut sliders and they were SO good. I’m not one to take pictures of my food but on this one I had to.

We proudly consider ourselves fish and chip super fans. Our credentials include many places up and down the entire west coast, Hawaiian islands, the Gulf Coast, and even the UK. And we are now dipping our toes into AK.

This place did not disappoint!! The salmon tacos were delicious and the halibut is just different in Alaska! It was incredible. They also have a unique seasoning in the batter, that I would put in my top 3 all-time, recency bias placing it #1!

Frog Lady and Tadpole did their thing! It started to get a little busy and I got scared for them. F&C take a minute to cook and I’ve seen the best places sink. They kept cranking it out and ours was cooked perfectly.

Check this place out!

100% the best service in Haines. Friendly owner, great food, and a nice outdoor area to eat. The shrimp basket and fish tacos are outstanding. The wings were also good, but I definitely recommend the seafood for freshness. Really appreciate such friendly service, other restaurants in Haines don’t provide nearly the same experience. Definitely come here for the food and friendly service.

This was definitely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. We could see the giant slab of fresh halibut from which our fish was sliced, and the result was snowy white, flaky fish and light, crispy breading. It’s pricey for food truck fare but worth it.

BOMB fish and chips. Fish is killer. Owners were super friendly. Grab a beer at the market next door and chill.

Also, favorite spot of cruise ship staff on their limited nights off, and that’s high praise.

Wings are awesome but the menu out front is a little small and you have to get really close to see.
