Stopped by as we were traveling to the air base. The burgers and fries were amazing. Plus, we bought a Pina colada pie, which was amazing. Loved that they gave out samples to try their famous pies. We will return, and the service was quick and accurate.

This is the best burger place in Jacksonville! Probably my favorite restaurant in this little podunk town. However, I seem to run into the same issue of communication every time I come. Some may say “well then stop going” but the food is too good. But tonight was probably about my 4th time in the past 4 months that something went wrong where communication was concerned. The 1st was my first time back in a long while but my husband’s 1st time ever. We both got the daily special with the 1/4lb burger fries and pie. We went through the drive thru and had to pull around to wait for food. I drank my entire tea waiting. The gentleman finally brought our pies but said we had to wait for our food. Everyone around us had gotten there stuff and were leaving. I stopped him and check in he said oh hold on let me check. A few minutes later he comes out and tells me they forgot and it will be out soon. We waited almost 50 minutes to get our food. The burgers were drowning in mustard . After that my husband said never again but I got him convinced later on to try it. We went no mustard this time and ordered ahead got home and they had mustard on them and food was cold… I blamed myself for showing up too late. The last time I came I decided I would go inside to order food so that maybe I could be heard better… we ordered the same thing as usual. Our fries weren’t seasoned but everything was hot so hey that was a plus! Tonight I called ahead to order at 6:04pm (just a burger and fries ×2) because I figured they would be busy. I waited about 10-15 minutes to leave home. I paid for my food at 6:25. Sat down and waited. At 6:35 the young lady noticed I was still waiting, asked for my name and went to the back… you could hear arguing. And then she came up with my food. She expressed her apologies and I left. When I got into the car I checked my food. Fries were not hot but slightly warm and soggy. The buns on my burgers were also soggy. I could have went back for a remake but i had already waited 30 minutes for my food. The food still tasted amazing and everything was made correctly. But due to the lack of communication it still isn’t right. I work in a restaurant I understand mistakes, being busy and more. I’m generally very understanding and have put up with this a lot because i enjoy the food. Heck I even tip every time I go despite the service because I go in each time hoping today will be better. I am asking that this team learn how to work together better. Take your time. Pay attention. Less chit chatting with each other and more paying attention around you. I will keep trying because I believe in success and betterment. I suggest some team building exercises. Seemed like some tension among the employees

This restaurant is a down-home type of place, w delicious cheeseburgers and fries, ( be sure to ask for ranch to dip!), along w fresh homemade fried pies baked daily! Samples available to help w the pie selection. Service is friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and you won’t leave hungry! W the current road construction it is a little daunting to determine how to reach the restaurant from the freeway, but I promise it is worth the headache! Yum!!

We tried this place last night. It was incredible!!! The burgers, shakes and pies were some of the best I’ve ever had. The seasoned fries were well seasoned and delicious!! They were quite busy but the service was friendly and fast. I was super pleased and I can’t wait to go back!!

Still one of the best burgers in the state. Juicy, cooked just to your likings, fresh crunchy onions, crisp lettuce, and firm tomatoes, pickles that are just right! Folks that appreciate you coming in to eat. I wish the Internet was up. I had to use cash due to the road construction intermittently knocking out the Internet.

The hamburger and fries were great. Large portion of fries and the single stack hamburger was good. Multiple flavors of pies with a free sample to taste. Food was hot, came out quick and tasted fresh.
