Good gimbap — nothing more, nothing less. Their spicy tuna has a good kick to it, so stay away if you’re spice-shy.

My sister and I were craving kimbap and this place delivered. Because of the prices we thought the serving sizes would be small but it was very generous and filling. I really liked the beef vegetable and the spicy tuna which definitely had a kick but was tasty. But we also tried the spicy fish cake which we enjoyed more than expected (was not fishy at all which is what we were worried about but also wasn’t really spicy). Overall loved it all and the person who helped us was very kind and quick with the order.
It is in the grocery store and we ate at home but I think there is some places to sit outside. Not much of an atmosphere for this place but the coffee shop next door seemed great too.

Picked up a Spicy Tuna Roll ($6) – on my way out after grocery shopping. Decent size for the price, roll seemed fresh as well. The spicy tuna definitely has a kick in it. We also appreciated the amount of filling!Convenient location for a quick craving fix!

Most of the menu items are sold out when I arrive around 6:30 after work. I had tuna kimbap. It was delicious for my taste. Pickled radish is also crispy Ododok.

So good! Always fresh and a great deal. Nowhere else in Irvine you can get such healthy food at this price. I’m especially obsessed with the tuna salad kimbap.

This is one of my go to places for lunch in Irvine. Good price for the quality. It’s healthy and well balanced, doesn’t put me to sleep when I go back to work. Tastes like how mom would make it, if my mom would actually make it. Nevertheless, it’s a great and convenient way to get some tasty Korean food to go.
For those who are looking for it, it’s inside the ZION market, first stall on the east side, near the one of the doors.

Very fresh Korean seaweed rice rolls. You can watch them make the rolls. I tried the spicy tuna, fish cake, regular tuna, and fish cake with tuna. They were all delicious. My favorite was probably regular tuna or fish cake. Because the tuna is from the can, not the fresh uncooked fish like in sushi places, the spicy tuna took some getting used to. It doesn’t mean it was not tasty. It just means that I was not used to the flavor of spicy canned tuna. The prices were reasonable. The lady helping was friendly.

Located inside Zion market, I usually grab a box of kimbap for an on-the-go lunch. The rolls are fairly large and more than enough for me. I’ve tried the beef, tuna and spicy tuna. Beef and tuna are not spicy, but the spicy tuna surprised me with an unexpected kick.
Anyway, they stuff the rolls with perilla leaves (which is amazing!), pickled radish, carrots, rolled egg and other vegetables packed neatly in dried seaweed. They give you chopsticks, but when you’re on the run, I just pop em like chips. It’s a mouthful sometimes, but that’s the only way to eat them if you want a bite of everything.

Don’t go to this dump and be disrespected. The Mexican chik they have working there is worthless.
The rolls are over priced and the good is nasty.
H mart had the same rolls for half the price and same freshness.
It is nasty to hell with this dump
