We just recently had our Son’s Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Janina Bistro on their Patio and EVERYTHING from the setup, the beautiful patio landscape, the incredible food and the wonderful Waitstaff was truly OUTSTANDING!!! I cannot say enough how absolutely thrilled we were that the Manager, Ari, who was in charge of setting up this Rehearsal Dinner for 66 people, came through in a better than expected way! Everyone raved about the Peppercorn Chicken, the Salmon and the Veal. Of course, the Penne Pasta w/Vodka Sauce that you are served at the beginning was also delicious! I highly recommend this Fabulous Gem of a Restaurant in Lebanon, NJ whether it be for your private dining pleasure or for planning a large event because this Restaurant will meet any of your needs. Thank You again to Ari, Jim and the entire staff at Janina Bistro for making our Rehearsal Dinner a beautiful night to remember!!

We ordered an arugula salad as an appetizer, followed by fettuccine bolognese, and the branzino special. The total was around $73.00, which seems kind of on the higher side. The food was average— the waiters, on the other hand, were above average and very attentive. It seems like a good place for parties or large groups. It’s also BYOB and there is a liquor store right next door.

I was looking for a middle eastern place on Google and somehow got here, and it was the BEST mistake I have ever made. The food was fresh and flavorful, the menu rich in choices, I sat in a specious lovely outside garden, and the service was attentive. I had the calamari appetizer and blackened salmon for main course, both freshly cooked to order, and tasty. Very reasonable price for what you get. Will definitely make it a point to stop here again. Lol, Italian beats middle eastern today….

Good Italian food, like 800 other restaurants in Central Jersey. Friendly service. Ridiculously long wait for our food, as in over an hour. For some pasta? The staff was slightly apologetic, as if this happens all the time. I won’t be back.

I have Door Dashed several times from Janina’s and I found it to be very inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes way below average and sometimes horrible. But since I had good meals there in the past, I figured I’d give them another try. I ordered Rigatoni Ancona last night. There was no flavor, pasta did not taste fresh, the sausage was rubbery and flavorless as well, like it was old. The pièce de résistance was that I found a 2“ x 1“ piece some sort of plastic wrap in with the pasta. So gross! I will never order from there again. In the past, I have ordered the lamb shank which was very dry. I thought maybe it was an off night for the chef, so I tried ordering it again another night, and again it was dry. I tried giving several chances to this place, but no more.
