This may be my favorite (and most authentic) French Bakery I have visited in the North East Their croissants and baked sweets are home made, flaky and delicious. The shop was very cozy and warm. ‍ It was the perfect end to our quick weekend trip in RI.

Utterly delicious you can tell they make all their own baking on the premises. Tried the raisin scroll, spinach and feta pastry, ham and Swiss cheese croissant, French meat pie, mango tart and chocolate croissant. The mango start was a stand out. Fairly priced for good quality baking. Loved that it’s wheelchair accessible, has restroom and 2 huge cases of sweet and savory pastries to try. Their parking facilities at the back of the property can fit quite a few cars as well. Highly recommend.

It was nice and cozy french bakery. People were so nice and have great baked pastries. Crêpes were good. They also have french lessons and meetings.

We got our wedding cake from the French Confection and it was perfect! The cake came out amazing, we got so many compliments, and it was exactly what we wanted! Karen and Xavier were so helpful and easy to work with, we originally only wanted a cutting cake, but after our tasting, we were so impressed we changed our minds to get some for everyone. Thank you guys!! 🙂

Came here for a quick Sunday morning stop while on vacation. There is a small parking lot in the back with a few spaces out front. Very intimate atmosphere, feels like going to a family member’s house with the overall homely vibe. The employees were very nice and helpful. It was also good to see them interacting with other customers in a way you can tell they had longstanding relationships with them. I try to support small businesses and was pretty happy with the service.

We ordered the eclairs and some macarons. The macarons particularly were tasty (earl grey and pistachio) although they seemed a bit overbaked; they tasted perfect. So moist inside. Unfortunately we did not like the iced coffee. It tasted very inoffensive and like generic store coffee, although it wasn’t expensive.

I did notice lots of signs inside promoting French culture and community, which was good. I would come here again for the baked goods alone – would like to try more macarons!

This cute French bakery will meet all of your bread and pie needs. We had a Croque Monsieur, grilled ham & swiss (simple, nothing fancy), a delicious egg and bacon croissant (would recommend), and a yummy pate meat pie (would recommend a try at least once!).

It’s a relaxing place to eat dessert or just enjoy some fresh baked goods!

Go check them out!

I’ve been visiting this establishment frequently over the last few months. I’ve been pushing off this review for awhile now because everytime I go, I find something else that makes this place AMAZING and I haven’t found the time to sit down and Yelp. LOL.

1. Customer service: Absolutely fantastic. There is a younger crowd that works here, and they have some of the best customer service skills I’ve seen in a long time. Any business would be lucky to have these people on their team. Always HAPPY to take your order, answer any questions, and make sure you’re comfortable at this establishment. There’s one girl in particular, LEXI, that has outstanding customer service. The first time I came here she greeted me with the biggest smile and friendliest voice, made me feel like I was visiting a friend at work and they were happy to see me. Great feeling. Lexi and the rest of the staff is a huge part of the reason why I keep coming back.

2. Overall feel: This is one of the only places I will visit alone. I feel so comfortable coming here by myself and I normally only sit down somewhere if im with someone. So, if you’re looking to take yourself out on a first date, this is a great place to start. Cozy place, great food and friendly staff.

3. Food donations?: One of the times I was visiting by myself, I noticed someone came in to pick up food donations. I thought that it was so generous and great that they do this, mainly because most corporate chains like Dunkin Donuts just throw out the extra food when someone in need could be eating it. I would love if the business owner could reply to let the community know more about this interaction that I saw occur.

4. Food: Obviously the friendly staff alone is not what keeps me coming back. The food is DELICIOUS. Here are the items that I suggest trying: Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, bacon egg and cheese – croissant, pain aux raisins, fruit tarte pastries, garden salad w chicken salad.

5. The Cost: $ – Prices that make me happy and happy enough to through down a fat tip. If im going to spend my money anywhere this is the place. IT COST LESS THAN YOUR AVERAGE FAST FOOD PLACE. To go to Mc Donald’s, it’s $12 for a nugget meal with fries and a drink. Garbage chemical food. To come here, it cost $12 for a chicken salad sandwich, chips, a drink, AND a big cookie. It’s great food, good for you, and you’re supporting a local business.

Love this place and as a community we need to support these small businesses to keep them running!

Amazing pastries and deserts, and solid authentic french food. Wonderful atmosphere of a classic french cafe, with beautiful decor and many books available to peruse at completion of your dining. Despite a hiccup with having a piece of detritus in one of our meals (which was swiftly and professionally rectified), the meal was delicious! Excellent coffee and the best macarons I have ever had, especially the salted caramel. Absolutely will be returning when next in town!
