Decided to stop for some Ice cream. Atmosphere was great, staff were great. Ordered the 4 piece chicken with corn nuggets, was great. Also ordered a dipped ice cream which had to go in a cup because the ice cream was too soft per employee, we had no problem with. We also had two ice cream cones, the chocolate had frostbite was the only thing I was disappointed with.

Very nice little ice cream store on the side of the road toward the bay water in Edenton. Nice friendly people (owners) inside. We stopped there for ice cream. Milkshakes and hot fudge Sunday was basic and good! The front window had large pictures of some things on their menu such as corn dog or hot dog. Parking lot is small but enough for 5 to 10 vehicles to park there. Few tables outside with umbrellas if I remember correctly.

The food was very good!
My husband had fried chicken and we were amazed that they cook it to order so they chicken hadn’t been setting under no heat light it was fresh and my husband said it was really good. I ordered the cheeseburger and the meat definitely was not a frozen patty. We will be going back for that fresh home-cooked meal. The staff was pleasant and acted like they were family.

I visit Edenton so often to have a Family reunion. Most of the places closed early, but thanks to the Freeze, which accommodates, many people in the area. The food is great, the people are nice and the place, The Freeze, has nice hospitality. I will always visit the Freeze, again , when I venture to the Edenton area. Well Done!

I’ve been coming here since I was in 4th grade. I usually speak very highly of this place but, today I ordered an 8 piece (they only had white meat which was a little upsetting because, my son loves the legs but, I went ahead and ordered it anyways because their chicken is usually sooo good) a side of mashed potatoes and gravy , slaw and green beans. The best part of the meal was the slaw and I’m sure it came from the grocery store. I ordered my food at 2:10, they said it would be 25-30 minutes. Came to the drive thru around 2:45 and still had to wait 10-15 minutes at the window. Then.. when I tasted the green beans, they were definitely old and sour, the (instant) mashed potatoes were obviously not mixed well because it crumbled onto my kids plate and the chicken was so dry the hot sauce didn’t make a difference. This place is usually so good but, I was sad today… should have went to stop shop.
