Pretty cool place. Used to be Pats II. They’ve done a complete remodel. More of a hipster bar now. Drinks are about $17. Beers are around $8. Only complaint is the layout. It can be pretty hard to move around when it gets crowded.

I was looking for a nice bar open during the day. This place was phenomenal, wonderful service and great drinks. Try the Gin Gypsy, so good. This is a great bar to visit before or after going to the Riviera for dinner.

I’ve been to The Fox Den twice and both times, the cocktails were fantastic—elevated, balanced, and worth sipping slow. The vibe is equally on point: cozy, stylish, and a great addition to South Redondo.
Sidebar: If you like your Manhattans straight up (like I do), and Fitzy (sp?) is working, be sure to let her know beforehand. She automatically serves them on the rocks—nice rocks, yes—but those are for Old Fashioneds, IMO.

I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of common sense and poor service we experienced here tonight. Our group of four, all in our 50s, was turned away because one person in our party—who is 54 years old—didn’t have their physical ID on them. Despite having clear photos of both their passport and driver’s license on their phone, the bouncer and bartender adamantly refused us entry.
They claimed it was a “California law” that they must see a physical ID, regardless of how obviously over 21 a patron is. While businesses have the right to set their own policies, hiding behind a “law” to turn away middle-aged adults is absurd. In California, while “bona fide” identification is required to protect the business, there is no state mandate that forces a bar to card someone who is clearly in their 50s.
Frankly, it felt like we were being discriminated against for our age. It’s hard to imagine a group in their 30s being treated with such rigid, dismissive hostility. If you are looking for a welcoming atmosphere that treats mature adults with a shred of respect, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. We certainly won’t be back.

This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it’s perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I’ve been there, but I will say it’s too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That’s the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.

We are so excited to have this space! It’s warm and inviting, spacious and cozy. Smells like a European airport in the 1960s. Drinks are exciting and classic. Best of luck, Fox Den!

Beautiful place to hang out and have a drink or 2 or 3 with a friend. Decor is well designed, put together and matches the overall vibe and the drink menu. Drinks here are a good mixture of classics with an updated twist. Tasteful yet not overly cute which can be a turn off sometimes when you want that classic stiff drink.
