The origins of the Foundry is intimately connected with the origins of gastronomy and mixology that have seen their golden age in the 20s, “la Belle Epoque”. Our menu is ever changing as we are slaves to seasons and we put a lot of effort into sourcing the freshest local produce and import the best pieces of beef from the USA and Argentina. All our meat is hormone free and comes from livestock raised and finished on natural pastures. We also smoke and cure our own fish, meat and poultry, make all of burgers and sausages and create our own dressings and gravies. We believe your dinning experience is a combination of good quality produce and our expert preparation.

THE FOUNDRY is still playing our favorite R&Bs and will always be the locals hot spot for every thursday night.
Fantastic for a group hangout with valet parking and honestly a good spot to go down memory lane.
Roof top vibes
1st floor if you visit in summer.
Ask for the special cocktail list
Good for romantic dates too
The food was a highlight – absolutely delicious with generous portions. We had bite-sized dishes and each was a delight. Service was another strong point, both excellent and quick.
Their cocktails were superb. Each one was a mix of great flavors, adding to the overall experience.
While it’s important to note that it’s on the pricier side, it’s still one of my favorites in Bahrain.
Definitely worth a visit for a special night out.
♂️Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 5/5
Notes: When I entered the building, I didn’t really get a warm welcome. I received a nice welcome by the staff on the second floor (shoutout to Timmy ) The ambiance is really cozy and dark. I love to come here is it isn’t packed (at least when I went during the week) The food is really good, some dishes taste a lot like the ones I would have in France (iykyk 😉 My favorite dishes are the Goat Cheese Salad, Steak Frites and the Chocolate Cookie.
he let us try his special sauce for the noodles it was spicy and tasty!!!

i really recommend trying the Tum yum soup!!!!!
There is a lot to like about The Foundry. It’s a fine place to relax and have a drink, with its cozy but elegant industrial vibe, look, and feel—enjoying drinks with friends and family is a pleasant and fun experience. But that excellent cocktail bar of theirs went from cool and classy to a loud mess of a place around 11 pm or so—our elevator stopped there as we were departing, only to be greeted with an incredibly loud music blasting through that very tiny space. Why must everything in Bahrain turn into a horribly loud nightclub after dinner?
The Meat/Meal: 1 kg tomahawk ribeye from the US at 570 SAR for a 3-person share (it was that or the single serve Argentinian ribeye). This was the ribeye with the disappearing flavor. It was crusted nice, and the flavor and seasoning shone through for a brief instant before dissipating quickly in the mouth. Luckily for me, they made one hell of a peppercorn sauce, which I used to up the flavor profile of the ribeye—not good.
In keeping with this year’s tradition, shared starters was the norm. Maryland crab cakes—wonderful, divine even. The Breseola was light, and paired with b the most amazing dill pickles I’ve had in many moons—those pickles complimented well the lightness of the breseaola. And finally tuna ceviche, an olive oil doused mess of a dish that is not Ceviche. Fortunately, the tuna ceviche came with homemade and heavily fried tortilla triangles, which completely overpowered the delicate lightness of the tuna (perhaps a seafood/rice cracker next time).
Am certain I’d like The Foundry on most nights, just not on a steak night. But I’d go back again to see if their Argentinian ribeye fared better than the tomahawk.
