The Foundry is back with their Buffet! They haven’t replaced everything from the previous menu, but the shrimp and smoked salmon are back… you should check it out for yourselves!
We had an unexpected surprise when we arrived for the buffet, only to realize it was a brunch menu only! The value for what we paid was average, but unfortunately one of the three items ordered came out a little overcooked, it still looked nice though :/ If they need to upcharge for certain food items, that would have been better than doing away with a buffet they were known for. Service was fantastic, but you could hear the other diners’ reactions and that made for a disappointed atmosphere. We’ll be back… someday….

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal. The poutine was probably my favorite. As well as the brown butter ice cream. The steak and risotto were also fantastic. The waiter we had was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

I ordered the shortrib and asked if I could have risotto with it. The waitress said that she got the ok from the kitchen and I said ok that sounds good, thanks. Went to pay and they charged me for 2 meals. Full order of risotto with a $31 upcharge for shortrib. I asked her why she didn’t mention there would be such a large upcharge and she said she assumed I could afford it and didn’t feel the need to mention it? I can afford it but that is not the issue. She should have been forthcoming about it and i would have probably just ordered the short rib with the regular sides. Honestly, the risotto was mostly butternut squash with goat cheese and other stuff you wouldn’t expect on risotto. I would not order again. The manager did not handle this situation well either. Any way, probably easier to just avoid this place in the future.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. As soon as we walked in – hostess Alice started literally YELLING at us saying why 7 people came, instead of the six booked.
Really?! We did not ask for any extra tables or anything, just one chair. It was just 7 people instead of six and you are making a big deal out of it.
This lady needs to learn manners and how to treat customers.
The menu was the same as two years ago. The salmon soup was cold and bland, I got heartburn from it. The cod was ok, just barely passing the border of disapproving.
Food was overpriced if we compare the quality and the menu. We paid $65 per person, one entree and appetizer, no drinks. The extra star goes to Spencer, our waiter who is the only person that deserves anything in this restaurant. The restaurant has lost its luster due to the poor menu and bad customer service.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at The Foundry in Manchester tonight! The customer service was absolutely outstanding—attentive, kind, and truly above and beyond. I believe our servers name was Amanda. The food was delicious (the salmon cakes were incredible), but what really stood out was how well the staff cared for us throughout the entire meal. An exceptional dining experience all around. We can’t wait to return!

My partner and I walked in with no reservation this evening and we were very pleasantly surprised to quickly get seated at a wonderful high top in the bar. There was live music near the bar area and the place was decorated beautifully. We ordered 2 cocktails from the menu, including a smoky maple bacon old fashioned and a black manhattan, both of which were incredible. We also tried the French onion soup, which I would HIGHLY recommend, and the honey roasted squash tart. Plus, service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this spot for a nice dinner/date night.

FYI, you have to make a reservation .The ambient of the restaurant is very cozy. I and my family are celebrating my birthday. The drink and food are good and big portions for sharing. We ordered some appetizers and dessert to share. We got so full before ordering the main course. But we got dessert. Those are delicious, too

My husband and I decided to try The Foundry for his birthday, and I just have to say WOW! From walking in the doors and seeing screens looking in on the kitchen, to seeing the menus being cleaned between customers The Foundry really goes above and beyond to provide an outstanding dining atmosphere. Our server was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. And the food! And the drinks! It was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. We can’t wait to go back!
