Take the drive to St. Michael, fight the crowd, pay for parking if needed, but DO visit the Fool’s Lantern. You will not regret the visit. This is a self-pour wine and beer bar; sample it all, pour as much or as little as you want. You pay for the ounce!
The food is positively amazing as well. We enjoyed a couple of handhelds and feta dip.
One of the light fixtures swayed the entire time we had dinner, maybe it’s haunted!!! Wouldn’t that be incredible.
On the menu they say food comes out when it’s finished, and it’s true the server brings it when it’s finished.

Great concept, great staff, amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere! They’re a newer place and I was excited to see the self pour concept in St. Michael’s. Paired with great tapas, food board options, and amazing desserts, the dining experience is a fun one from start to finish! We loved it here so much that we came for dinner and came right back for breakfast! It’s really nice in the Morning right now if you want a nice quiet delicious breakfast with a Bloody Mary/Maria bar and self pour wine and beers. The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed our conversations with them. I wish this place was near my home so we could come more often!

This is our 2nd time here. The first time we had brunch. This time we had lunch and drinks. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Service was quick . Drinks were good also. The beer and wine self service had a nice variety of selections. The food came out hot and fresh. The servers worked together to get your food out . Just an overall great time . They also have some TV’s.

A M A Z I N G !!!!! The setup is that you get a card to use to sample/pour your choice of a variety of beers & wine. The menu is absolutely fabulous & we’ll balanced. There is something for everyone & if there isn’t they will find something. The Chef Shawn was kind enough to come out to me when there was a dietary restriction. He wanted to make something that would work & it did! He is amazing, creative & went the extra mile. The Owners happened to be there & they were the sweetest people you could meet. This is a business that you should support. Not only because it’s superior but the people who make it up are exceptional. Wonderful staff, bravo

Love sitting outside here-very nice to sit inside too. Vast wine and beer selection and you can have a little or a lot. Love the different cheese and meat boards. But our most favorite part is the seasoned cheese sauce and soft pretzels-SO DELICIOUS!! Pic is of the aftermath!

Chris was so fun and knowledgeable, the food was fantastic, I did not participate but loved the idea of the self-serve wine/beer bar. (Maybe next time!) I had the gyro and my husband had the special of the day. Both wonderful! Nice, open atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating.

This is a great spot! It’s a pour yourself restaurant so know that going in. It lets you try different beers or wines and lets you get a refill when you’re ready, no waiting. The food is really good! Awesome apps with very creative flavors. You can get cocktails served to your table if you want liquor over beer and wine. It’s worth a visit!

As a couple who loves exploring breweries and wineries, this venue felt like the perfect blend of everything we enjoy with the added charm of a small-town business feel. It’s warm, welcoming, and it’s laid-back atmosphere makes everyone feel at ease. The food is amazing with a great variety of options and the drink selection is just as impressive (from craft beer to wine or cocktail options). We stumbled upon it by chance but chose to host our reception here because of the listed characteristics. There’s something for everyone! For our event, the team was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Michael (owner) made the whole experience feel even more personal by being so helpful in offering recommendations and being flexible with requests. Everything was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you’re looking for a unique spot to host an event or just want a great place to hang out and enjoy good food and/or a variety of drinks, this place truly delivers.

A chic addition to the St. Mike’s scene, that seems to still be under the radar enough for a more intimate atmosphere.
Unlike the other options in the area, my hard-of-hearing parents could actually hear me during our late luncheon!
The brie prosciutto sandwich was AHmazing and the collection of quality wines was thoughtfully diverse.
As someone who yearns to be back among the wineries in Cali, FR, and NZ, this place successfully brings the fun of wine-tasting to the East Coast. I can’t wait to go back and sit outside when the weather is nicer!
