I love going to this deli for breakfast and for lunch. They make absolutely perfect egg sandwiches at such an exceptional price and they even make delicious hot lunches and specials. (One of my favorite dishes is their meatball parm hero which they hardly ever make anymore hint hint!) overall this place is a diamond in the rough of Bohemia and i suggest if you are working and need a quick meal on lunch break, head to the Foodie Shack.

I initially gave Foodie Shack a 4-star review because of their clean environment, friendly staff, and decent food. However, my recent experience has completely changed my perspective. After placing an order through DoorDash, I discovered an extra charge for “2 eggs” added three hours after my initial purchase. This felt highly suspicious and unprofessional.
On top of that, they got my order wrong again, which has become a pattern with this place. While I understand mistakes happen, adding an unexplained charge afterward crosses a line. The fact that they’re able to use my payment information from DoorDash to charge me later without notice feels fraudulent and completely unacceptable.
At this point, besides their coffee, the food is just alright—not worth the hassle or mistrust. I’ve lowered my review to 2 stars, as this experience has left a bad taste. Businesses should prioritize transparency and accountability, and unfortunately, Foodie Shack missed the mark.

Went in for breakfast I was in the area. First thing this place has a great parking space and a good location. The establishment was very well kept nice and organized. Hot coffee was available good cold drink selection and attentive to customers. I ordered a BEC on an egg everything bagel with a hashbrown. The bagel was fresh, hashbrown nice and crispy. Prices are good for a breakfast item. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area. Highly recommend.

The absolute best spot to grab lunch! I have been eating here 2-3 times/week for over a year and they have the best sandwiches coupled with the best service. Everyone remembers your name and Leeann at the register is always ready with a joke and a smile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I ordered catering for my daughter’s rehearsal dinner and the owner went out of his way to make sure the food was hot and perfect! All my guests raved about the food. It was so good and they gained a customer for life. The hot food they serve everyday is also so good.I highly recommend the food and they really care about their customers.

I tried to call but no voicemail. 2 heroes. I told the girl EXACTLY what I wanted. No where was may mentioned at all. IN ADDITION barely any meat, meat not shredded as requested, barely any Lettuce and tomato and over loaded with Mayo, which again was never requested! Each hero 12 bucks. Since you close so early couldn’t speak to anyone. This is my message…expect my call for a full refund. Disgusting!
UPDATE: I want to change my review. I spoke to the woman who took my order, and she, too, didn’t understand how Mayo came into play. Maybe whomever made my sandwich thought it needed mayo. Who knows…Anyway, she was very apologetic and didn’t hesitate to offer me a refund or 2 new heroes. We chose new heroes. The hero is that good. Shredded ham, salami, mild provolone, Lettuce, tomatoes and Italian dressing (on the side so the bread doesn’t get soggy) delicious! My husband and I highly recommend it! Ty for correcting 🙂

First time coming here. The menu is a bit small but there are options. The guy who helped me was quick at making my kickin chicken sandwich. It was very good, next time I probably wouldn’t get the bacon though, just my preference. I also wanted to try the macaroni salad. It was okay, kind of tasteless to me with way too much of big chunks of celery. I would personally go back to try another sandwich.
