It’s a beer shop that serves sandwiches. Very friendly staff, wide selection of beer and ciders and seltzers, some wine, and local. I pop in every now and then for a grilled cheese with bacon and to pick up my white claws. I get a few singles to try. Never had a bad experience. Other beer gardens tend to be at least a little snooty but these folks are chill. Bring cash to avoid a 3% surcharge.

No meat on my sandwich, a common theme recently. Guys, I’ll pay extra if I need to, can I please just have some lunch meat on my lunch meat sandwich? You’ve lost me as a customer, this is pathetic. By the way, I paid for extra cheese on this one, just really disappointing.

My husband just purchased beer. They have a huge selection! But what was weird is that my total was $44.01 so I gave her $45 said “oh I have a penny” and she said they don’t want them anymore so she took all my money and gave me $0 in change…???? So you tell me you don’t want my penny and then keep my dollar and say “ok you’re good have a nice night”

Not really a grocery store or gourmet. It’s a sandwhich and beer shop. Sandwiches are decent but not gourmet really; Boars had meats (which are good, but nothing gourmet, not like using local purveyors other than the bread). They do sell some items in the store that are niche items. Again, niche not gourmet. Starts reflect what the business advertised itself as vs what it actually is. Misleading.

Food is good but the wait time is a big deterrent. I have consistently waited 20 mins for a sandwich despite there being no line and 2-3 employees. The people making the sandwiches are often talking or on their phones when they should be making my food…

I visited the Foodery on 12/09/2024 for lunch, dining in to have the Diablo sandwich at the suggestion of staff. A variety of food options exist for varied pallets, ranging from sandwiches to hoagies to soup. In addition, the site offers almost any beer you could want from around the world. Very reasonably priced and all fresh, made on site. Large seating available, outside patio and dedicated parking lot. I would highly recommend and will revisit.

This is an awesome place to hang out in Phoenixville. It’s a local market with sandwiches, drinks, some grocery items, and games.

We hung out for a while and had some grocery snacks and drinks that we enjoyed. They have beer on tap along with lots of drink options in bottles (including my favorite, kombucha).

We shared a couple of sandwiches: the Fooben with pastrami and Dad of Diablo. Both were delicious. I liked the Dad of Diablo a little more.

I would definitely come back to hang out and try some more tasty sandwiches.

Egg sandwich (double egg) on gluten free bread with pepperjack cheese and Chipotle mayo. Delicious! Thank The Foodery Team!

Food and beverages were way overpriced. They got my food order wrong and put onions when we said no onions and there’s barely any meat on this thing — it is NOT a $9 hoagie! I do appreciate the vibe and beer selection, but I think they’re gouging and underperforming.

I always used to “create my own sandwich” and do roast beef with the French baguette option. Recently and I hope only temporarily, they changed it to an amoroso roll which means it is not the thick great quality bread that partially made the sandwich Soo good. I am so sad. Please please bring the baguette back. It cost an extra 1.75 and I’m not rich but with all of the other great quality optional and main ingredients at the foodery it made for an outstanding hoagie.
