Took the fam for breakfast while out of town in Gainesville on a Saturday. Brief wait.
Ordered quickly. Beignets and mimosa app (get the bottle, its $20).
Food was really good. Everyone enjoyed. Could have eaten 75 biscuits.

Took my grandson to breakfast at the Gainesville location. The food was delicious and did not disappoint. The chocolate chip pancake was so good, a big portion and the best chocolate chips. I had the avocado toast, the pineapple salsa was so good and the prefect topping for the toast. The grits were the best I have ever had. So creamy and fresh. Eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. The snickerdoodle latte was the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. Nicole was our server and took care of our every need. I highly recommend this restaurant just give yourself time as this is a popular place for locals and fills up fast.

A bustling Cafe. The flying biscuit does not disappoint. From unique menu items to to attentive staff even in a busy and environment, when in Gainesville in the mornings, this is my new favorite brunch and breakfast location. I really like the English muffin which is served with egg and Hollandaise sauce and salmon. The only comment I would have is that they’re hollandaise sauce is very bland, and a squirt of lemon for the addition of some capers would be excellent. However, my server was more than happy to provide me with some pickled okra in addition to the one that came on my bloody Mary.

This place is incredible! My boyfriend and I have gone about 5 or 6 times and gotten different things. Everything we have ordered has been amazing. From the mimosa flights to the stuffed french toast it is absolutely amazing.
The service is always incredible and there is usually a wait for a table (which we dont mind because everyone lives this place as much as we do!
The ambiance is also very good, colorful, cheerful and great value for the portion sizes. With 2 drinks and 2 BIG meals its usually about $30 for us and we are stuffed afterwards. We take everyone we know here to eat.

got off on the wrong foot ,had a party of 4 waited an hrs for a table just as we were call 1/2 the party canceled..they refused to seat us cause the rest of the party wasn’t coming…I was hungry ready to eat..decided to try again 2hrs later with 4 had to wait 40mins…it’s cozy inside the coffee smell drifted not to busy or noisy ..from that point on didn’t feel welcomed wasn’t sure of the condiments on the table and menu different than what it was online…not a fan of experience or food, not sure why they’re so crowded.Probably won’t be back even if they are getting a new menu

Our server, Dan, was just super! Very attentive and took great care of us. My french toast with raspberry coulee and cream anglais was excellent. The grits my husband enjoyed were delicious. My son loved the biscuits and gravy! We cannot wait to return. Excellent. Lovely sitting outside and enjoying a great Sunday breakfast.

I visited Flying Biscuit around noon and had a great experience. The wait time wasn’t bad at all, even though it was busy. I sat at the counter, and service was quick and friendly.
I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT, which was really good, crispy, hot, and flavorful. The goat cheese came as a ball in the middle; tasty, but I’d prefer it spread out more to balance each bite. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and actually crispy on the outside with a soft inside, which was a nice surprise.
I noticed that a lot of the menu is very egg-forward, so if you’re not big on eggs, your choices are a bit more limited.
Overall, a solid spot for a casual lunch with flavorful food, quick service, and a lively atmosphere.

Eclectic themed decor is bright and colorful. Service was great. Smoked salmon scramble, collard greens and biscuit was delicious. Other people in our party enjoyed Hollywood omelet and Vegan tofu scramble. First time grit eaters were satisfied and potatoes were yummy as well. We all loved the biscuits and apple butter.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way south. Patrick was an excellent server. We ordered the classic Benedict, piedmont omelette and flying biscuit breakfast. My husband also ordered a butterscotch latte. As every time we have come, food was delish. The hollandaise sauce is silky smooth, the grits are creamy. My daughter doesn’t eat beef or pork, so she loves that they have a sage chicken sausage. We need one of these in Lake City!
