We just left The Flint for date night and had an amazing experience! This was our first time visiting the restaurant since we are just moving back to the Albany area. From the moment we walked in, we were greet with a smile by the hostess and the owner. He was very personable and even had a sense of humor!

The wait staff was phenomenal, that is where the experience ended on a positive note. I’ve had better backyard burgers. After attempting to get my Flint burger my second time due to being overly salted and overcooked, the second was just the same. Obviously the mix of meat is seasoned before hitting the grill and someone is heavy handed. The burgers are over mixed and dense and dry. My wife and son had the classic burger and neither of them finished their burger. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences we had in awhile. From the owner greeting us to the server, and the food…. The food top tier!!!! The photo does no justice. You have to come and check them out.

If you are into over priced food, and music played at night club levels this is your kind of place. My wife and I went for the once a month brunch event they have and not impressed. Frozen waffles and grits filled with bone chips. And they automatically charge gratuity for a party of 2. Nor the food or atmosphere was worth the $72 it cost. Save yourself the pain and trouble and just go to waffle house.

First restaurant I’ve eaten at in Albany and it was amazing! Quay(server) had exceptional customer service and you can trust him with any recommendations. My partner and I had the catfish and oxtail entree with four different sides and none of them disappointed. The mature vibe with a hint of southern soul with a live singer made it a perfect date night.

We have been three times, and it never fails to impress! I have gotten something different each time and never been disappointed. It is a bit expensive, but well worth it considering the quality of the food and atmosphere. Pro insider tip: The Peach cobbler cheesecake is a MUST!

Very friendly and inviting staff. Chef Glenn was the first to greet us and welcomed us kindly. Got seated within a very reasonable time. Our server quickly got us going with drinks and went over the menu. We ordered the mozzarella cigars and they were 10/10. We got the ribeye and the stuffed flounder. Flounder was an 8/10 and the steak was decent. All of the sides were great especially the Mac and cheese. We finished off with the Cookie a la mode and it was a 12/10. I would recommend eating here for a nicer night out with nowhere to be. We were in and out in about an hour so the pace of service was excellent.

First thing to note about this place is how absolutely friendly and inviting the staff is. I have never been into a restaurant and felt so welcomed and appreciated for being there. We started with the mozzarella cigars and they were probably the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had. I ordered the steak which did come out under cooked but that was quickly rectified. I did have a cosmo which came out a little heavy on the cranberry which is easy to do and switched to wine for which they had a great selection. Now my favorite thing of the night absolutely hands down was the chocolate chip cookie Al a mode. I don’t know who taught the chef how to make this cookie but 15/10 for that cookie. Overall great experience and I will be back.

A friend had a birthday party in one of the rooms beautiful decorated by Glam Event Venue out of Atlanta. The waitress was very sweet and tried to do things in a timely manner. First time I had been there and enjoyed it.
