We started with the lamb meatballs — super flavorful and a great way to kick things off. Definitely recommend. The green goddess salad was fine, but not particularly memorable. If I were ordering again, I’d probably skip that and lean into something else.
The fried catfish was delicious. The grits were solid and the greens had great flavor, though they do bring some heat — worth noting if you’re sensitive to spice.
The absolute standout, though, was the gnocchi. One of my favorite dishes I had while in Savannah. The gnocchi were pillowy soft and the sauce was incredibly flavorful — rich without being heavy. It’s the kind of dish you think about the next day.
Service was excellent — attentive without hovering. You can tell this is an upscale restaurant that takes pride in its food. Pricing felt on par for Savannah and very reasonable for the quality you’re getting.
Would absolutely return, especially for that gnocchi alone.
Ahdo, oh my goodness, AHDO was absolutely amazing. I don’t often say this, actually I have never said this but he was the best waiter I ever had. He was so kind and easy to talk to. He gave us great recommendations of where to go for brunch as well as sightseeing. I had the cucumber blossom cocktail that he recommended and it was the best. It was a nice fresh yet slightly sweet drink. I had the half chicken and I just absolutely MELTED. It was so juicy and delicious, paired very well with the cabbage. My husband got the burger with fries and while the burger was delicious, it didn’t blow my mind. But the fries however, I couldn’t stop munching on them.
We also got the oysters for appetizers and they were absolutely phenomenal, the flavors were just so incredible.
Will 100% be back again, and will be asking for Ahdo !!
This is the BEST Southern food this Yankee has ever experienced. I’m soooo full, but I want to keep eating because it’s so yum. Ask for Lydia as your server, and just trust her. If she says you should get it, just get it. No argument; just get it. Service is exemplary. We felt catered to and appreciated. I got the Devil’s Punch and my friend got the Dark Ritual. My drink was tart, balanced, and thoughtful and my friend’s drink would definitely make me a fan of Manhattans, if they are as good as these. A local server recommended this place as the place she would go to, and we agree. Quality food and quality ingredients made and served by people who care. Wow.
If you are disappointed in this place, you are a miserable human being and I feel sorry for you, because you are incapable of experiencing care, warmth, and passion.
