I have lived in this area for years and never knew it existed til I got in a conversation with someone about some good fried fish in the area and this restaurant came up. Decided to give it a go today as I was in the neighborhood and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Tried their lunch special which was a box loaded to the brim white fish and popcorn shrimp and had hush puppies, fries and slaw (not pictured). Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious and ran $10 and some change which in this economy was an insane value proposition. Definitely give these folks your money if your mood fancies some fried water based critters.

First visit. Clean, diner vibe, prompt and pleasant service. I had the Tuesday night special, whitefish and popcorn shrimp with baked potato and slaw. A large portion of tasty fish and shrimp, and an absolutely perfect baked potato. A real value and delicious. This bears further investigation. Stay tuned

Understated from outside, this place is really awesome inside! It’s neat and clean…even the menus look brand new. The staff were super friendly (Kim was our server and she was excellent). And the food is really excellent! Fresh and crispy. Great portion sizes. My son got a slcheesburger that was immense. I highly recommend this place!

Pleasantly surprised by this strip mall seafood restaurant. The lunch portions were plentiful and we could have shared one. Delicious food cooked just right. Other things we saw looked amazing too.

Good price , amazing customer service, and made fairly quick. 5 star taste 5 star portions you can feed two adults and a small child with one plate. Must try in the Kingsport tri city area. Only con is no booze but there’s a liquor store about 35 steps from the establishment so you can indulge like I did. order 4 of everything and have yourself a good time and iodine poisoning. Good times

I stopped here on a work trip. This was truly some of the best fish I’ve ever had. Portions were large and reasonably priced. The fish was tender and juicy, not dry and rubbery like a lot of places. The bowl of clam chowder was equally large and delicious. Friendly and attentive staff. My only regret is I live 3 hours away.

While the food was fresh and typical for any calabash style seafood place, it needs some updating and deep cleaning. The table next to us had an older child who had ate snacks with friends prior to meeting up for dinner. They asked to order from the kids menu because they didn’t offer any small dish options. Though respectfully from the server, that request was denied. One order I overheard a gentleman in the back go “Where’s the kid, are you sure they are under 12?”. It was in fact a kid about 9 ish who had exited the table to use the restroom.
Portions are usual. Everyone loves the small ball like hush puppies.
Menu options for kids not old enough for an adult meal need considered as well as senior specials for older persons who maybe cannot eat a large meal.
Don’t go if your kid is 10 looking like they are 15 because you are surely to be hassled or disrespected at this establishment. Wait staff was excellent, kind, and attentive despite the obvious management pre-judgements listed above. Tips are always best in cash.
Restaurant was generally clean , but appears tired/aged.
A 20 min. Drive up the road to Harbor House in Johnson City may be a more pleasant experience for our next calabash style outing.

Got the large portion salt and pepper catfish and it was great. Hush puppies were good and the onion rings were okay. Service was good. Now the bad. Men’s restroom was horrible. Severely in need of update I’ve seen better bathrooms in a 50 year old gas station. Urinal was out of order, toilet seat on toilet was broken sink was covered in rust and calcium buildup.

First time here , and The most disgusting food I have ever tried , under cooked or over fried . I will never eat here again. Customer service is terrible, smells really bad in the restaurant and it’s outdated and dirty . Will not be coming back or recommending this to anyone .
