We are a neighborhood landmark that is family run. The Milevski Family started on Plauderville Ave in 1989 when we opened Tommy’s Deli and Pizzeria, right down the block from the Firehouse Family Restaurant. Our pizza experience started back then when Tom Sr., our father, purchased what was then called Paul’s Deli & Pizzeria from our uncle Paul. So technically, our family has been doing business on Plauderville Ave. in Garfield for almost 50 years. Our Business is our life, and we respect every patron we serve. I love this place!! I have been here at least ten times in the last couple years and it is consistently fantastic. The pizza is thin and crispy with a good amount of cheese and sauce. The fries are crispy and thick. The Caesar salad is a generous portion with lots of dressing and croutons. Also crucially, the service is always friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being very busy. I would recommend to anyone who likes NJ pizza and good vibes.

This place is already a win with its top-notch food and cozy pub vibes, but the real MVP is Tim. I’m convinced he’s either a wizard or has a microchip in his brain , guy remembers everything. Your name, your drink, what you ordered two Tuesdays ago, probably even your childhood dog’s name. It’s borderline spooky, but in the best way. Tim’s got the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. If this pub had trading cards, I’d collect the Tim one

This is a nice casual/family restaurant that also has a bar area. They also have an upstairs level available for parties. They have great food. We ordered chicken parmigiana and a pizza. Both were wonderful. The chicken parm was super tender and the pasta was cooked perfectly. They do their pizza in a thin crust style, it was great and the crust was one of the best parts when I usually do not finish all the crust, this pizza I finished every bite. They are reasonably priced and have wonderful service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive she did a wonderful job and made us feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend trying this restaurant, you will be happy all around. I’m definitely going back!

The atmosphere of this place is the best trait of this restaurant as the food wasn’t as good as that. The steak was cold sadly.

My sister’s Baby Shower was hosted upstairs at this Beautiful and Spacious Restaurant, the Proprietor ensured a pleasant experience and the service in the actual Venue room was excellent.
My family and the 65 other guests were extremely pleased with the servers and the attentiveness displayed. Between the drink service, the staff was also able to keep the room clean, and restock the food as needed.
The room upstairs allowed the family to reconnect and catch up and the bar and restaurant downstairs was very inviting as well. There is lots of Firefighting Memorabilia from not just Garfield, but all around which I’m sure come with many great stories.
Absolutely a great establishment, we will definitely be scheduling more events in the future.

I would not recommend bringing kids to this place on a Saturday. They do karaoke and new management doesn’t have control of this, they let kids sit a bar, lets them hear and sing inappropriate songs with cursed words. The worst part is that they don’t do anything about it. I have already also reported it to authorities…. They really should not be doing adult karaoke if they family restaurant as they claim!

Haven’t went for lunch or dinner however we did have my mother in laws surprise birthday party here yesterday and it was very nice. The food was very good along with the service. They have a nice party room upstairs, harder on the elders because there are so many stairs to walk up, but thankfully they have bathrooms upstairs.
