We’ve been coming to Prairie Sushi for years, and it continues to be one of the best spots for sushi in Grande Prairie. The quality is consistently great — whether it’s the sashimi, rolls, or cones, everything is always fresh and well-prepared. Their pork wonton soup is a hidden gem too — loaded with flavour and packed full of goodness.
While the atmosphere might not feel overly “Asian-themed,” the space is clean, comfortable, and has plenty of good seating. It’s a reliable, go-to spot when you’re craving quality sushi in town. Highly recommend!

I have traveled many places, and this place is still my favourite sushi place! Attention to detail, great protion sizes compared to other places. The jasmine green tea is special ordered from Japan and is my favourite kind from anywhere. The staff are always friendly and kind.

Food was the best and is so filling! The price was worth it for the food you’ll receive, and the service and people are nice and fast. I love the privacy you’ll get in each table but the interior is a bit out-dated. Nonetheless, it was s good experience, and I would 100% go back if I had the chance 🙂

Had a chance to try many Japanese places in Grande Prairie.
This place is definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city.
Went there 4 times in 3 weeks since our first visit. The price is not expensive for the quality of food you will get.
Rolls have good quality ingredients and we love Soft Clam in our Spider rolls.
Chirashi sushi is recommended if you enjoy raw fish. The amount of sashimi is just right and worth the relatively high price dishes.
We also tried Yakisoba and found that we could use some more beef in the dish but the taste is good.

I ordered five large trays for today’s birthday party, and most of the guests asked where I had ordered them from. The rice, its seasoning, firmness, the toppings, and the rolls filled with fresh ingredients—everything was perfect. The delivery arrived exactly on time, making this a very satisfying order. As an Asian who loves sushi, I think Prairie Sushi has the best sushi in GP!

If your looking for Japanese cuisine, this is my number 1 place to go. Awesome service, and awesome food. In the picture is the 10pc super spider roll, pretty much just a dynamite roll but more bigger, more filling, and the perfect amount of crisp, seriously recommend. We also had the sweet n sour pork, which was very good too. Wasn’t soggy, the sauce was perfect, and it also came with a side of rice. The thing i love about this place is that whenever you go there, you never get a dish thats mediocre, its always made perfectly. This place is a must whenever your in GP. 10/10
