We stopped here while taking a break from a bike ride on the High Trestle Trail. It was a warm day, so ice cream hit the spot!
It felt like the shop was either understaffed or didn’t have enough equipment, as the wait time was longer than at most other ice cream shops I’ve visited.
The soft serve machine also stopped working while we waited, so one of the people in our group had to choose another flavor and reorder, since chocolate wasn’t available. The staff members were friendly, and the one who had to announce that the chocolate wasn’t available was very apologetic.

A cute little ice cream shop that you need to stop at while biking on the High Trestle Bridge. I would highly recommend this place. We had five people order 5 different things and they were all good. My favorite was the Amaretto Cherry ice cream. Portion sizes are big! Good value, nice employees and cute atmosphere. Outside seating only but they had a few tables to sit.

My friend & I stopped here for some ice cream while we were riding the High Trestle Trail, and it was very refreshing. The counter service was convenient and efficient, and the outdoor patio was serviceable. I had a simple chocolate malt and it tasted above average, so I was pleasantly satisfied. Prices are reasonable as well. It was just a couple of blocks off of the trail, so definitely worth the stop.

A fun place to stop in a small town. Would be such a fun place for everyone if they had some outdoor music and an intercom to call out when your order is ready.

This is a small town gem. I work in Luther and am always telling people to stop here on their way back to Des Moines. They have some pretty unique flavors as well. The scotcharoo and banana split were a couple of pur favorites. I also really like the cake batter and oreo combo. They are dog friendly and have a water bowl out front for your furry friends too! Highly recommend!

Such a fun experience to go for ice cream here! The atmosphere alone takes you back in time going to the ice cream parlor as a little girl! The young lady that took our order was so sweet and patient to let each of our little ones give their own order! The cafe lights, tables and umbrellas set the quaint scene! There was quite the crowd and yes we had a wait but not excessive and everyone was kind and patient. Enjoyed visiting with the crowd, everyone pleased with their treat! A must go!

We ordered a thin mint flurrie and it was poorly mixed and had mini chocolate chips, not thin mint cookies, which was weird. Unfortunately it was also runny ice cream so that really made it worse. Pretty tough to ruin ice cream, but they did this time.
