I got a takeout order for lunch today and the food was very good southern cooking … My favorite was the fried okra…the lady at the cash register was rude, but don’t let her keep you from trying it out. It’s a great place for lunch.

I’m a member of the Dalton Amateur Radio Club… we had a club meeting here for lunch. First time I’ve been here. Absolutely terrific. What you can tell immediately is that everything on the buffet line is homemade by real Southern cooks. Hands down the best buffet in the Dalton area.

Let me start by saying this place is a good southern cooking buffet restaurant. The food is always very tasty every time I have gone. The ONLY reason I’m giving it a 4 star and not 5 is because they never offer any kind of meat that isn’t fried. I guess Southern Food is all about fried food, but it definitely wouldn’t hurt to throw some grilled chicken out there, at least for the salad. The restaurant is kept very clean, and the bar is usually very appealing to eat from. I know some buffets who don’t keep up the bar, but that is definitely not the case here. They do a magnificent job of that. The service is very welcoming and helpful. Overall, I should give this place a 5, but there are minor dietary options they should add to their bar, in my opinion. In the meantime, if you want fried southern food, this is your place. For one adult person to eat will cost you $16.04.

Stopped in after my son’s soccer game and came across this place. My family of four loved it. We were very pleased with the food, the atmosphere was very cool for a buffet, and the service was great. Friendly staff and good desserts.

The Filling Station has not disappointed yet. I’ve been twice so far and the food was great both times. The first time, there was 7 in our party and the waitress was able to put two tables together. May have to wait extra time during busy times for more than four people.

This is such a cute local spot with eclectic gas station decor. It’s buffet style and affordable. Think southern Baptist church dinner! You have your couple of meats and 15 veggies and sides—not to mention a variety of cakes and pies. The staff were very friendly, too.

Wonderful place to eat. Long line but it went pretty fast. I have dietary issues but found turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans, and some other thingsthat did not hurt my stomach. With definitely go back. So much variety. Buffet included drink and dessert. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
