I love this place! The eggs Benedict’s are great and very filling. I had the Kali Love and my girl had the veggie but added ham to it. Super delicious!!!! They have a great selection of hot sauces. As a fan of extreme hot sauces, my favorite was the Satans Blood. It’s in the think long necked bottle as seen in my photos. When I say hot, I mean you only need two to three drops for an entire omelet. But I digress. Any thing you order here will be good. The wait is worth it. Plus, if you like coffee, they a self serve coffee bar with a variety of coffees while you wait.

I had the Egg White omelet! It was so yummy! It came out fast and hot. The coffee setup is amazing! You can endless coffee and choose your own mug. Such a cute spot and waitresses there are nice and accommodating! I would definitely be coming back. They had so many yummy foods on the menus

Our third time there.
Excellent food and service each time.
The first two times I had the Craven County Eggs Benedict and the hubs and I shared a short stack of pancakes.
The amount of food is super generous and delicious.
Today I had the Belgian waffles and they were crispy and delicious.
Sam was our server the first couple of times and today we had Mary.
Both ladies ( and the young ladies who seat you and run the cash register) are friendly, welcoming accommodating and friendly.
Mary, thank you for helping my daughter who is socially awkward feel comfortable and for doing such an amazing job!
I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back very soon.
Thank you.

I am a HUGE fan of eggs Benedict and this restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered the veggie Benedict and it was so fresh and amazing! Very large portions and great quality for the money. The side of cheesy grits was massive and I sadly didn’t have a lot of room in my stomach to eat more…
I’ll be back again, for sure!

Seaglass used to be one of our favorite breakfast places but in the last year it has become the most poorly managed restaurants in New Bern. On 4 separate occasions we have arrived at Seaglass an hour or more before they closed (per their online hours and the hours posted on their door) and have been told they were closed and weren’t seating anyone new because they ran out of a few ingredients. Since this has become a trend we always try to call multiple times before making the trip out there, but they never answer their phone. They also never post that they are closing on their Facebook. I can see from other recent reviews that this is a trend others are experiencing as well. Hopefully they will take these reviews seriously and improve their customer experience.

Service was very slow. Then wife’s food came and was told they would be right back with mine. By the time they brought my food my wife was over half way done with hers. The eggs they brought me were cold. Obviously sitting out. They never returned to table to check on us and the self serv coffee had multiple dirty cups and coffee full if coffee grounds. I had to go to counter to complain. Never tried to make it right. Just said they wouldn’t charge for mine. I really just wanted breakfast. Will not be back. 4.3 rating is a joke

Great place to eat breakfast or lunch. Food is fresh and taste wonderful. Portion are very good. Hot food is hot and cold food is cold. They also have a coffee bar and it’s awesome. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. There is handicap parking and access. The men and women restrooms are very clean.

Hmm,
Wonderful service for sure! So today I ordered scrambled eggs wit 50/50 (bacon and sausage links) and pancakes. The eggs were flavorless. Sausage pre-made and not the business. The pancakes made zero flavor as well. I would strongly suggest added salt and any type of spice to the eggs, a pinch of sugar and vanilla extract to the pancakes and please… make your own sausage links or patties. Again, wonderful service.

Small place but super cute. The people were so nice. I loved the coffee bar. So many different kinds of coffee and creamers. The food was great best pancakes I have had in awhile.

If you’re looking for a good, local, hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with made from scratch cooking, this place will more than satisfy you with very generous portions and tasty meals. It’s a local secret with good prices and it’s not too fancy so you can easily just stop in anytime and feel comfortably at home.
