Great place to have drink eat the topper for me is its karaoke night EVERY NIGHT!!! Come on out and enjoy yourself and be sure you leave the drama at home because the security ain’t having of it.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at The Filling Station. My boyfriend and I went on Friday night and only ordered one drink and a shot, which originally came out to $19.50. However, a couple of days later, that charge was updated to $49.50 without my authorization.
When I called to ask about it, the staff claimed that I had left a $30 tip, which I know for a fact I did not. One of the managers even told me I was “too drunk to realize what I signed,” which was extremely rude and unprofessional. I also asked to see the camera footage and was told I couldn’t without a police report.
I’ve tried multiple times to get in contact with the owner and have received no response. On top of that, some of the bartenders seemed to be drinking while working and didn’t seem to realize what they were ringing up — one of the shots was even charged incorrectly.
This was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this place until they improve their management, billing accuracy, and staff behavior.

Small hole in the wall. Staff is nice drinks are good. Smoking bar. Parking lot bad. Location Poor. Has pool. Karaoke on Sunday. I would not eat here.

Absolutely my favorite place to come to when spending a night in Roanoke. Best bartenders ever- Tiffany, Stephanie and Tammy. And as always the best DJ and owner Papa D. First day I walked in here it felt like a hometown bar where everyone knows someone and now we’re regulars even after a month of not coming. The food is awesome, drinks are even better, and memories are always made ❤️

They have a pool tournament mostly every night at 9:30 and have been very welcoming to someone from out of town, like myself. I go here every other Wednesday night and they have karaoke. The DJ is super nice and will find nearly any song you can think to sing. The staff is super nice and the bouncer seems to have a handle on throwing people out who are there to cause problems. Shots are a little pricey, and the pool tables are $1.50 per game, but if you’re after some good competition on the pool table, this is a good place to try.
