The Fig Tree Coffee, Art, & Music Lounge on Vernon Street in Roseville is truly a hidden gem and an amazing way to start the day. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The space itself is quiet, cozy, and full of character, with fantastic vintage art and a creative atmosphere that sets it apart from typical coffee shops.
It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your coffee, and really take in your surroundings. The blend of coffee, art, and music creates a relaxing and inspiring environment that keeps me coming back. Every visit has been a great experience, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in Roseville. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique and inviting.

I love this Café! I do a Crochet Meetup here almost every week and the staff is so nice and welcoming. Every week is a new experience because this is also an Art Café so they host many different artist performing entertainment for you to join in or listen to if you want. Anything from jazz live performers, open mic, Celtic music, and open poetry night. When our group gets together we’re always interested in what is going to be the fun entertainment of the night that we can listen in the background along while we crochet. Their pastries are great and their coffee even better. I love seeing the chalk art with their seasonal menu that cycles drinks throughout the year. I always spot new things whether it’s kitchy souvenirs that were gifted to the shop owner/staff or new artists paintings on display for everyone to view. Such a fun vibe. I’ve sat in comfy chairs, sofas, tables and have been in the front of the quiet part of the café or back where their performing stage is. This environment allows you to connect to strangers in a way where you feel like you made a new friend all while we’re learning new and old hobbies. I honestly have only been here for around 6ish months and wish I found it sooner! Hats off to the owner for creating a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment that many college kids and different ages can have the pleasure of joining and connecting in. Can’t wait to continue making new memories as the years go by.

Chill and quiet craft coffee and tea spot in downtown Roseville. Cool vibe, and hosts local musicians for events. Quiet place to study, or enjoy local music.

Coffee and pastries were great! The employee serving us said 90% of baked goods are made in house, and they had a plethora of savory options as well as sweet. The atmosphere is very homey, very quirky. A mix of a little bit of everything so many different types of folks in there I really liked that. Service was very friendly and they offer a lot of non-disposable options which I like this well. Definitely would come back check them out

The latte I had was not very good. The coffee tasted really burnt and bitter. But the pepperoni pizza pie was delicious. And the atmosphere was really nice. Quiet, warm, peaceful. The service was very friendly. I would come back and try a few of the other items. What I didn’t like was that there was no toaster. I usually like my pastries toasted.

The Fig Tree is a downtown Roseville staple! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it’s always had great vibes, live music, and the perfect space for studying or hanging out. The drinks are top notch (London Fog is my favorite), and I even got to perform at their open mic. Truly one of the best spots in the community!
Love The Fig Tree! Excited to be performing there this Thursday, Oct 16 from 7–8 PM as The Ukulele Whisperer. Come enjoy some new songs and originals!

My favorite place to study and read. All of their food items are out of this world. Highly recommend the mini pies, the pizza calzone, the brookie and the cheesecakes. but the best thing was hands down the cinnamon roll pastry. genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth

The coffee was actually pretty good. And pastries were also nice. I wouldnt mind getting it again. But… i wouldn’t sit to drink it again.
The atmosphere is kinda off. I feel out of place. Unless you are one of those who likes to stand out with your unique personality and fashion. This is for you.

Very nice old-fashioned style place. It’s more for connecting and chatting. There is a variety of great drinks also. Not that much pastry. The price is average, $6 for a coffee. Country style music. Greens and woods.
There is also love music some days a a certain time. Check the website for information
